Multiboxing Retribution Paladins – Ramparts
After over a week of gameplay and preparation, the 4x Paladin 1x Death Knight team has finally come together in Ramparts. This new multiboxing team brings together a lot of potential on paper. One such potential is Divine Storm.
Massive self healing through multiboxing the Divine Storm Skill:
On paper it would seem that it is quite possible to run instances, even heroics, without having to heal the tank of the group (bosses not counted) simply by having 4x Retribution Paladins using the Divine Storm skill. When fully glyphed, this skill will heal your party members for 40% of the damage done. Multiple this by 4 and you can get some really intense healing. For example, if you watch this video below closely, you will see 1 “volley” of Divine Storm is healing my tank for sometimes in excess of 3000.
Here is the first of hopefully man videos showing the potential power of multiboxing Paladins with a Death Knight tank.

Multiboxing Retribution Paladins - Ramparts |
Hi tim..firstly its great your leading the way and showing just how cool multiboxing is..myself i multibox 5 dks unholy too..army of dead * 5 lovely :p
anyway..great job on your team..they work cool…
only thing personally i might change…your castsequence…does depend on your talent spec etc..but i would go with something like
icy touch,plauge strike,blood strike,blood strike,scrouge strike…
this uses all your runes…and is the standard cookie cutter for dks..
also one thing i noticed..not sure if you are aware of…(sure you are)..but when your tanking you get the blue line below your health that fills up 130 on yours..
i know you want just 1 key..but your wasting a extra powerful attck if you dont use the blue youve generated..when its full..you could have another macro which will use all your blue in a spell strike..
not sure if your still 2h or gone dual wield..and i hope this will be ok to put..dont mean to be preaching to the preacher..but..this might give you some ideas to try..and these are trusted setups…unholy wise anyway..here you go..
2H Unholy SS Build – 0/10/61
Rotations
PS – IT – BS – BS – SS – RP // SS – SS – SS – RP
Priority System: Diseases (BP > FF) > MaxRP-Dump > SS > BS > DC. It is important to understand that Rune abilities always take priority over RP abilities. The one exception to Rune > RP is if you will go over your RP cap (thereby losing potential RP), then immediately fire off a RP ability.
Always keep the 2SR in mind however, as you will want to fire off DC’s and HoW between GCD’s when possible. Don’t just RP dump at the end of a rotation.
Anytime your diseases are not refreshed by SS Glyph, make sure you refresh them yourself. So long as your diseases have 2+ seconds on their duration firing off SS’s is fine. Just be aware of your Rune CD’s and the duration left on your diseases at all times.
BP and FF diseases take priority over all other attacks. Otherwise you can spam SS and BS, ignoring IT and PS as long as the SS Glyph is proc’ing.
Runeforge: Rune of the Fallen Crusader
Sigil: Sigil of Awareness / Sigil of the Vengeful Heart
Weapon Speeds: Slow
Presence: Blood
Notes: Substandard to 2H OB Unholy if you have T7+ gear. SotVH becomes the better Sigil once your AP/Spell Damage scales enough with gear to outpace the SoA benefits. This is an itemization threshold that will be breached somewhere when you are ilvl 232+. If you have not yet reached 20% Apr, this is the superior spec
2H Unholy Oblit Build – 0/17/54
Rotations
PS – IT – BS – BS – OB – RP // OB – OB – OB – RP
Priority System: Diseases (BP > FF) > MaxRP-Dump > OB > BS > DC.
Runeforge: Rune of the Fallen Crusader
Sigil: Sigil of the Vengeful Heart
Weapon Speeds: Slow
Presence: Blood
Notes: Don’t expect this spec to last as it breaks the design goal stated by Blizzard. You can shift one point from Necrosis into IUP if you don’t have a speed enchant on your boots yet. Ignoring AoE, I’m not sure if Morbidity is a better buy than Necrosis yet.
anyway..great job and i.m watching all the time i can..great software you have..evryone should get it..and keep up the great work..phew sorry for huge email
)
ohh last thing..i know alot of shorthand talk here..
main tank key would use
PS(plague strike) IT(icey touch) BS(blood strike) BS(blood strike) SS(scrouge strike)
then your blue bar should be maxed out RP(runepool)
then second macro blows all the blue..you can use various
use it summon gargoyle…or as above
3 ss ss ss(scrouge strikes)
3 ob ob bo(obliterates)
3 dc dc dc(deatcoils)
or combinations of above and more..just check your spells..
just thought id add that incase of confusion..
Dugg!
