| Hi, im kylol, i have been playing world of warcraft for four and a half years, and i play 5 shaman on blackrock (us-pvp) in the guild <BUT MOM IM MULTIBOXING>. This will be a guide on how to level, and play a multibox shaman team, as well as an explanation as to why shamans are an excellent choice. Why choose shaman? When choosing a multiboxing group, there are always a few things to look at. When you multibox, basically anything that a class has (there are exceptions) is put to five times more use! So with paladins, you get 4 blessings for each charecter! For mages you get 5 frost novas, which you can chain together. For hunters, you get 5 pets. Etc etc. Now, for shamans, this multiplication of different abilitys is even greater. Each shaman gets 4 totems, these totems can put a stacking heal over time on all your shaman, do huge aoe damage, provide your characters with multiple different stat bonuses, break fear, polymorph etc, and make you look awesome standing in a forest of glowing totems, as well as other beneficial things. 4 x 5 = 20!. (this is huge, if you didnt catch that) Each shaman gets a "chain heal" which heals 3 nearby group members x 5. Each shaman gets a "chain lightning" which deals nature damage to 3 nearby enemies x 5! Theres more, but this is the bread and butter of why multiboxing shamans is so powerful. First, ask yourself "Why do i want to multibox?", Or, more specifically, "What do i want to do while multiboxing (With this team)". If you want to pve, shamans are a good choice. If you want to pvp, shamans are a GREAT choice. If you want to pvp and pve shamans are A SUPER AWESOME CHOICE!. Ill explain. If you want to pve shaman are a good choice, because they can solo (5 box) every dungeon while leveling, at level appropriate. Some of them are a challenge, but they can all be defeated . Once your 80, if you want to pve raid, multiple shaman do great dps. Most raid leaders cherish this, because its such high focused dps. If you want to pvp shaman are great choice, because they have high utility, high damage, and great quick group healing. You will be blasting through your enemies! Now you may say "But if i multibox any 5 damage classes i will be blasting through my enemies kylol!" True. But, with shaman you have the highest survivability of any ranged dps class! You can heal your group to full in 2.5 seconds, get constant heals from your stacking healing stream totems, and run away with ghost wolf! You also wear mail armor (third most durable armor out of the four in the game) and have a totem that breaks fear polymorph etc. Now, if you want to pve and pvp shaman are a SUPER AWESOME CHOICE, because when you combine how good they are at pve with how great they are at pvp you get SUPER AWESOME, and this is what i suggest. Up next, how to start with shaman!

| Now you may be saying "AHH KYLOL YOU TOTALLY SOLD ME ON SHAMAN, BUT NOW I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET STARTED HELP ME KYLOL AHHHHH" No? Oh, well ill explain anyway. This guide will assume that you already have 5 accounts linked via recruit a friend, because you can find guides for how to do that in other areas on the internetz. Step 1: Buy pwnboxer. (pwnboxer.com) I cannot stress the importance of this step enough. It is the wonderful made of win sugary foundation that all of your pwnage and fun is built upon. Step 2: Create you're 5 shaman characters! You may want to match their appearances exactly, because this can confuse your enemies in pvp, confuse noobs in capital cities, and confuse yourself! Err scratch that last bit what i meant to say was it looks awesome. Yeah. You may also want to name them similar names for the same reasons as above. You can use different accent symbols (which you can copy / paste from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acute_accent) to make them all named the same thing, or name them something cool thats already taken. Or, you can just name them similar things. Examples : Appearance example : ![]() Name examples : Tims charecters Pwnboxer Pwnboxerza Pwnboxerzb Pwnboxerzc Pwnboxerzd Etc etc. Kylols charecters Kylol Kylolol kylmao kylawls kyrofl Step 4: config! Ui, macros, keybindings, etc. First, you may want to take a look at your ui, the ui i use is ![]() Bartender four, the action bar mod. Quartz, the casting bar mod. Xperl, the unit frames mod. Jamba, a super great multiboxing addon that displays the experience of your team, can make them all autofollow your main after combat, auto sets loot to free for all, auto accepts group invites from members on the team list, can mirror master quest accept (with interact with target) and mirror master quest complete with reward choice, and take masters flight path, among other great features. None of this requires mouse broadcasting. Recount, the dps meter. Nice damage, the damage font mod. Questhelper, the quest... helper mod. Essential. Multishot, the screenshot mod. It automatically takes a screenshot when you ding, kill a boss, get an achievement, etc. With this mod you can create a thread like Kylols shaman team tons of screenshots awesome thread!. Please do. MY key bindings are below, but you may want to use totally different key bindings. Q - lightning bolt. E - chain lightning. F - earth shock. R - flame shock. C - Totems. X - Water shield. Z - follow macro, (makes "slaves" follow leader) V - Thunderstorm. 1 - mount. 2 - water. Shift Q - Assist macro. (makes "slaves" assist leader.. or target the leaders target, if your a noob) Shift E - frost shock. Shift F - Lesser healing wave. Shift R - Accept macro. (Accept shared quest, release spirit after death, etc. Shift C - Stoneclaw totem. Shift X - Magma totem. Shift Z - chain heal. Shift V - bloodlust (orc racial). Shift 1 - flametoungue weapon. Shift 2 - cleanse poisin / disease. Ctrl 1 - focus macro. Makes slaves focus kylol (main). Macros! Focus macro! /focus kylol Replace kylol with your mains name. Assist macro! /assist focus This will make your slaves assist your master. Targets his target. Follow macro! /follow focus This will make your slaves follow your master. Accept macro thing. /script AcceptGroup(); /script AcceptQuest(); /script AcceptTrade(); /script RetrieveCorpse(); /script RepopMe(); This will make your characters accept a trade, accept a group invite, accept a shared quest, release spirit after death, and rez if they are standing near there body.

| For PvE, starting out. Probably 1x Paladin, 4x Shaman. Or possibly substitute 1x Warlock or 1x Druid (Balance), for a shaman. For PvP, cannot think of a toon that will add more then a fourth/fifth shaman, if you are playing them all yourself, and have 3+ on your team. Paladin/4x Shaman, from a PvE perspective opens far more doors, then they take away from in PvP. Plus, if you want to arena, 4x Shaman with a friend playing the healer, allows for arena. 5x One Class, PvE and PvP... - The Shaman is definitely one of the top contenders... Everything except heroics, until they are outgeared. Probably the best single spec/class for heroics, while at that level of gear. - Druid can cover each role for PvE, but then you have different hotkeys/keybinds, and effectively have three types of toons. You can stack Balance, Feral or Resto for pvp; not as strong as 5x Shaman, at least to date. - Warlocks, especially Affliction, have a lot of self heals, for great PvP contention but probably not an option in PvE lacking both the tank and heals. Normal dungeons, sure. Heroics, very doubtful until you outgear them. - Priests, probably deep Disc, with some shadow... will rock in PvP, playing the support role with limited dps. PvE, all normals at level, most likely, but would need a tank type for heroics at level/gear.
