I might have missed it.. but what does the /use 13 and /use 14 do? Is it rank of spells?

Those are your trinkets (top/bottom = 13/14).

Hi everyone. Hope someone can answer this. My destro lock has the same click sequence macros as explained in the first page, commas adjusted for my speed. I'm having trouble though somewhere in the 4-5th rotation of the macro. It seems to lag out on me where no spells will fire off even when all CD's are off. Like it's waiting for something. Then after about 3 seconds or so, it finally fires of an immolate then good for another 4-5 rounds. Is it because of my click speed--More calibration required--Like I'm clicking too fast and had placed commas for a speed a bit slower?

No, it means you don't have a fall-through click set up.

Add an additional macro that casts either Shadow Bolt or Incinerate (as appropriate to your spec/pref), assign it to a new button and place that button last in your main click sequence and you should be fine.

I have incinerate as my last macro, just as stated in the click castsequence thread. My macro is exactly as listed in that thread, except the commas are set to mine.

i have noticed the same problem lately after going to instances 4-5 above my level. i'm also using click castsequences but i'll try to simplify it, my first action bar is immolate<commas>, 2nd is conflag<commas> and 3rd is my fall-through incinerate<NO commas>. i think that if my immolate is resisted, my conflag never gets off but since she'll try to cast this (unlike on cooldown) than the macro gets stuck there and will never get to the fall-through. not sure if this has always been the case or a patch changed the way skills are tested before casting.

since i have a reset=target on my immolate i just try to switch targets but oftentimes i'm not aware that my lock's castsequences are stuck.

First off, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to post this information and helping the community out.

I just began attempting to write my own /click sequence, but I am running into some blocks that I hope somebody can point out my flaws on. I'm aim to keep my sequence simple until I get a functional base to expand upon. I used the Tools for World of Warcraft Multiboxers webpage to time my button spamming/commas.

Class: Warlock
Desired Sequence: Hand of Gul'dan (12 Second Cooldown), Immolate (15 Second Duration), Incinerate (Fall through spell, only Global Cooldown)

PvE Master Macro:
/Click MultiBarLeftButton1
/Click MultiBarLeftButton2
/Click MultiBarLeftButton3

MultiBarLeftButton1 Macro:
/castsequence reset=combat Hand of Gul'dan,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

MultiBarLeftButton2 Macro:
/castsequence reset=target Immolate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,

MultiBarLeftButton3 Macro:
/cast Incinerate

The problem I am having is that after casting Hand of Gul'dan and Immolate, nothing else casts until the cooldown comes off of Hand of Gul'dan and it just recasts that and Immolate. I've attempted using Corruption and Shadowbolt in place of Incinerate with no luck. I've also swapped Immolate's and Incincerate's spots in the sequence. After doing this, it'll cast Hand of Gul'dan and a singular cast of Incinerate, then stop casting all together again until Hand of Gul'dans cooldown is off. It's as though the PvE Warlock Master macro only recognizes two spell casts, no matter the selected spells, before it stops responding.

Another solution I tried was using SuperDuperMacros mod to create the macros. I then have the PvE Warlock Master macro written like this, citing the spell macros directly instead of targeting the bar button:

Alternate PvE Warlock Master macro:
/Click sdb_HandOfGuldan
/Click sdb_Immolate
/Click sdb_Incinerate

This version of the PvE Warlock Master macro yielded the same results. Two spell casts, then an end to spell casting until Hand of Gul'dan was off cooldown.

Please note that the spaces that appear in the commas of the macros are not present in the game, but are there due to the forum spacing them when making a post.

Unfortunately, as of the 4.0.1 patch, we cannot use commas as a delay tool.
So the entire concept of click castsequences has been removed.

Depending on your software, you might be able to duplicate the features of this, but since it is something Blizzard has chosen to remove from the game... that's probably not a good idea.

The best replacement for this seems to be:

a) A spam macro, which includes two /Click commands.
b) A single castsequence on the first of the two clicked buttons; something which can loop endlessly and does not include proc type effects.
c) A /cast or several /cast proc type effects, on the second of the two clicked buttons.

If the entire sequence is short enough, you can put them into a single macro.

Several addons (and a few boxing software options) still allow for macros to exceed 255 characters.
