Tim's New rogue Team (melee Macros)

Team Sandwich consists of 1 prot + 4 ret paladins, so really we only have 4 Divine Storms. It's a nice boost to healing and with the Glyph of Divine Storm, it's even better.

BG/Arena is challenging since paladins don't really have a good 'gap closer' skill (like Death Grip for DKs). This requires you to run to your target and engage at melee. It also involves a lot of spamming 'Interact with Target', which can be fun to watch.

As mentioned before, a DK lead team of 4 ret paladins is scary.

The all Paladin team, will probably want to hug pillars, to break line of sight a lot.
Force the enemies to come to them.

Once in range, Judgement of Justice will prevent them from escaping quickly, along with 5x stuns on round-robin.

Against a team which stays in the open, and does not come to you... or in world/battleground pvp, not really sure what you will do against people who kite you and keep their distance. I suppose holding towers or bunkers (or taking them back) forces people to remain close to you.

The DK lead, instead of the Prot Paladin brings a ton to 4x Ret. I'd probably go that route, if I was doing a Pally based melee team.

When you say spamming the IWT key, do you spam that key along with your main click sequence macro key? Or do you add the IWT key to the click sequence macro key and spam that?

I actually don't spam it myself anymore, I do more single IWT and only spam if the situation calls for it. Non-IWT spam seems to work out much better and results in much fewer run-aways.

For Pve I am using the lazy man's approach currently. This is the old run through target manually and my guys have a follow in the attack macros. It is also very effective if you know how to do it properly and doesn't require any thinking or setting up. I usually constantly run through the targets. I found that with the pally dk combo it doesn't matter what skill you hit most of the time.

The downside is it is not as effective as IWT since they could miss some auto attacks, but you will never have any paladins trying to imitate Forest Gump either.

I will get around to actually using it more often. Especially once they hit 80. 15+ minute ques = no pvp until 80.

sorry to intervene but i have a question since im sorta new to the multibox stuff and running multiple toons. you mentioned some rouges an iwt not sure what that stands for??

and you say it seems to do in BGs

IWT - Interact With Target

Yea in BGs its amazing fun to gank up on people out of the blue for instant kills!

I've got a toggle set up.

When I press my 1, 2, 3 or 4 keys (might only be 1-3), if the toggle is on then every other (odd) key action is IWT (for the melee toons only, and nothing for casters) and the even presses is whatever the key is normally (1, 2, 3 etc) for all toons.

So I spam my "1" key usually, which is my click castsequence. And if I want IWT spam, then turn the toggle on, but if I don't want it I turn the toggle off. Either way, spam the "1" key.
