Ah, now I understand so its like, spam Macro 1, then "oh damn proc" hit macro 2. Question there is, if you have 4 abilities in the Proc Macro, and the ability that procs 1st is the 3rd ability, wouldn't it lock up because the sequence of the first 2 didn't follow as TRUE? or would it only work on that 3rd spam keystroke after failing the first 2 spells?

Also with the quote above, what is the purpose of the NULL in that macro?

None of those macros are mine.
Just found them on the other boxing site, basically two good Cataclysm macro threads (both stickied); the basic principle gets a starting point so you can build things that work for your playstyle.



The BT4 is a single cast of one spell at the start of the sequence, via a /click command.
Soulfire gets your character the 15% haste, and the macro then keeps it.

A null in a castsequence is not a recognized spell, so it cannot be cast.
Basically the sequence will lock up on that point, until the reset conditional.

At which point, your alternating two button spam tries to advance the two sequences.



The second macro, for the Destro Lock only has Conflagrate as an ability which might be ready or might not be ready. And the first macro has spells which you can fire off at any time.
So with the alternating of presses between the two, the first macro will always fire off.
The second macro will do an initial Conflagrate, and then be "stuck" until the cooldown for the ability expires.
At which point another Conflagrate can fire off.

The nice thing about that... Conflagrate is used as a timer, to control how frequently the other abilities such as the Bane can be fired off. So no commas for delay are used, but we still time how frequently a given ability can be fired off.
