| I've finally done it and upgraded to 5 accounts and have been setting up the basics to get my team working but i'm a bit stumped on how to make my slave characters stop following my main character. Anyone have a simple solution to this? |

| The only option to break follow, is with a movement key. Well that, or getting your toon stuck on something, so you run out of their follow range. Ideally, you'd want the ability to have your slaves move independently of the master/active toon. I have my arrow keys (up, down, left, and right) set to broadcast to my slaves only. I will usually use down arrow (backwards movement), to break follow. You can get creative if you like. For example, have your melee toons follow the tank, but when the nasty AoE occurs, press a hotkey which has them /follow your healer, who is standing in a safe position. Then another hotkey, can have them re-follow your tank, to once more come into melee. |

| Fancy is nice if you have the ability to bind a lot of keys and remember wtf you bound them to hehe. I'm setting up using a logitech G13 for the left hand and my mouse for right hand so i'm restricted to around 25 keys unless i get a mouse with some extra buttons. For now i'm sticking with some of the easier content such as farming legendary drops in molten core so there's lots of time to refine the setup. Binding arrow down key to the center of the G13's "movement stick" does good for having my group break follow. I'm using a warrior tank, two demonology locks with felguards or doomguards if i get really annoyed, a frost mage and a resto druid for my team. Lots of extra pets to pickup random aggro and tons of mixed dmg aoe. I also figure if there's a lot of aoe damage I could have the mage and locks bubble with ice barrier and sacrifice voidwalker. | I have the same basic keybinds, for all of my teams. DPS type things, which involve assisting are on: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, or =. I use specials on (Shift +): A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, ; And then have functions on (Shift +): F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, and F10. Shift + A, is AoE abilities which do not require targeting; it doesn't matter what team I am on. Shift F10 is ground mounts. Shift F5 is flying mounts. Shift F9 is eat/drink. Whatever system you come up with, as you use it, you'll learn it. I do have a print out, for each of the four teams I am actively playing. Three of the teams are relatively new to me. Two in the process of leveling up, and some of the keys do nothing yet. I plan out which key will go where, when the team is at maximum level. And then print that as my layout. |
