Default Rouge DPS Cast Sequence

Been looking all over for a good dps rotation and incorporate it into my rouge. However I seem to always pop my DPS CD's but my attacks don't ever go off. Here's what I got

Code:
/cast Berserking
/cast Adrenaline Rush
/use 13
/use 14
/castrandom Sinister Strike, Revealing Strike
at one point I even tried this one

Code:
/cast Berserking
/cast Adrenaline Rush
/use 13
/use 14
/castsequence reset=6/combat/target Sinister Strike, Revealing Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Eviscerate
or

Code:
/cast Berserking
/cast Adrenaline Rush
/use 13
/use 14
/castsequence reset=5/combat/target Sinister Strike, Revealing Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike
or even just (with either the cast random method, or including the finishing move desired)

Code:
/cast Berserking
/cast Adrenaline Rush
/castsequence reset=6/combat/target Sinister Strike, Revealing Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Sinister Strike, Eviscerate
And yet none of the attacks seem to go off, and I thought perhaps I had a typo somewhere, but through editing and modifying, still came up short on the macro somewhere. Does anyone use a cast rotation for a rogue, if so, could you share it.

In general, macro format is along these lines now:

#show or #showtooltip
- This will either show the icon or show the icon and allow you to mouse-over for the tooltip; you can force the button to show a class specific power. For example: #show Elemental Mastery, while the macro is a Flame Shock, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning, Frost Shock.

Use the Red Questionmark icon
- This will have warcraft substitute the correct icon for whatever spell/ability is currently being cast.

Use a castsequence next
- This is the meat & potatoes of the macro. Generally only include abilities that have no recast delay, or alternatively time the abilities and when the macro will call them, so it never gets stuck.

Use a /Cast next
- The first ability listed, will be cast at every opportunity (ie, as often as it is available) anytime after the first ability in the castsequence has fired off. You have to spam the macro for the /cast spell to go off instead of the castsequence's next spell.

Include abilities off of the GCD.
- Anything not on the GCD, can go anywhere in the macro. I generally put single casts towards the end, for readability.

Most people have had success with the two-step model.

Create your castsequence macro, possibly with a single ability that will refresh often and which you'd like to fire off at every opportunity.

Then create another macro with other "proc" effects or abilities on longer cooldowns.

The idea is to alternate from one to another. A then B then A then B...

If your software multiplexor supports "Steps", use a single hotkey. Have it send Keybind A on the first press and Keybind B on the second press. Without a third step, it will default back to Step 1 on the third press.

You could duplicate this with the default UI, with a /changeactionbar # command. Have your first macro change to the bar where your proc macro is located. Have the proc macro change to the first action bar. Put them on the same key, so you're spamming "1" or whatever all the time.

Your macro syntax looks good. All the macro stuff is lower case (which was changed to be a requirement in Cataclysm) and spells have correct capitalization and spelling.

(Mutilate) Rogue two-button macro.
Alternate between these two macros.

Button 1:
/cast mutilate
/cast coldblood
/use 13
/use 14

Button 2:
/castsequence reset=combat mutilate, slice and dice, mutilate, envenom, mutilate, mutilate, rupture, mutilate, mutilate, envenom, mutilate, mutilate, envenom, mutilate, mutilate, rupture, mutilate, mutilate, envenom
