| Cross Posting from the other site. Original post by Svpernova09, on 23rd Feb 2010. According to the test realm patch notes, they will be removing proc notification in the combat logs, next patch. This basically means addons like Jamba or MSBT, which notify us when our slave/party members have a proc will not be able to do so. Things like Eclipse, Arcane Barrage etc. Here is a work around: Download and install - EventAlert - Addons - Curse Open this file - WoW\Interface\Addons\EventAlert\EventAlert.lua Find: Quote:

You may have to do some trickery for it if your class is tracking multiple procs, or you can just do /ea opt and go uncheck the procs you don't want to look for. | ||

| I'm hoping this change won't go live. I honestly don't see a good reason for removing it. It wouldn't be so bad, if we had not been given the functionality, but having had it... it sucks to have it removed. I'd rather have an addon parse the combat log in real time. And give notifications, as desired procs occur. Only need the addon to run on the toon(s) you lead with. Not sure of worldofraids or wowwebstats will be able to track the number of procs or not. This is a work around, should that actually go live. Configure which procs are announced, via party chat or whisper. With Jamba, whispers can be forwarded to the master/active toon... so either would work. |
