Are you using Focus? NoFocus? Assist? FTL?

Adjustments will need to be made based on what method you're using.

In another thread, he had a macro which stopped working with the macro changes around the launch of WotLK.

It was one which targeted friendly toons, radiating outward from the caster. Checked their health, and if they were below a percentage cast a heal on them.

You can use:
/targetparty
/Cast Whatever

This will cycle through party members starting with the closest and working outwards. It will never target your own toon, but loops to the nearest toon, when you have cycled through all the others.

Or similarly:
/targetfriendplayer

This is not party specific, but is friendly specific.

You could reverse the order with:
/targetfriendplayer 1

But macros cannot sense if a player has a buff or not. Nor can they tell the current health of a target, and to cast based on this. Players need to make their own decisions now.
