Default Nvidia 3D Vision

I guess it could be compared as a mod

Who else uses it here? (if anyone )

To people wondering wtf it is, here you can find some descriptions of the product :
NVIDIA 3D Vision Experience Page
NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Glasses - HotHardware

Basically, your computer generates 2 images instead of one ony your screen. You have guessed right, one for each eye !
The lens of the glasses you put on to see the 3D effect are actually little LCD screens that becomes dark alternately really fast (you can't see it with your own eyes) to show each eye the image it's supposed to see hence the 3D effect. This technology is really stunning but I doubt it can be enjoyed while multiboxing :/

For those who uses it, here are some screenshots I took that you can watch in 3D :
PicFront - Ihr innovativer Bildhoster
PicFront - Ihr innovativer Bildhoster

Don't hesitate to post your owns

Tim if you really have tons of money, you should really try to invest in that for your own personal amusement, it's clear you can't broadcast it, but it's still really cool when you decide to play only 1 char.

The glasses are worth 150€ so something like $220 or 133£ for you
Imo you can buy it on any IT related web store.
But do you have a (true) 120Hz LCD or 100Hz+ CRT monitor??
And do you have a graphic card good enough?? I suggest you go check on Nvidia's website to be sure before buying the glasses alone.

That is some quality troll.

I've charged them saturday, I played every single day since then (with sunday for at least 10+ hours) and the battery is still up and running. Plus you can use the glasses while you charge them.

And if you hardly notice the difference, you might be part of the 10% people (Nvidia says) that won't see anything in stereoscopic 3D, and I feel sorry for you

Ah maybe you don't play must then as it even states on nvidia forms they last from 2-3 hours but if fully charged can last a maxium of 8 hours. Unles there's a newer model of these I'm unaware of.

And what I ment was you don't notice much 3d. Search YouTube and read peoples comments bout it.

I told you I just played 10+ hours on Sunday, 4+ hours monday (wow raid) and 3+ hours yesterday (RE5)
I don't know where you've heard that but they really don't last that few hours. It's specified on Nvidia's website : "40 hours of stereoscopic 3D"

And sorry if I don't think that youtube is a reliable source of information. It's mostly populated by 12 year old and braindead haters. I'rather trust what I see with my own eyes or my friend's. And they see in 3D, I can assure you that.

On a future note, I'd like people to talk about their experience or ask questions about the product instead of trolling based on what they read on random forums or YouTube.

Thanks!

Grow up dude "trolling"... And all the other hints at trying to make out everyone should believe what you say. If you can't reply without trying to undermind me with your wow slang then don't post at all as these forms are for clean casual discussions, not minor abuse in every reply. My first post was fine and no need to be like that.

Your first post was "This is crap, i read it on YouTube".
So please, stop posting if you don't have anything to say that's worth reading.
We're here to discuss the technology in a constructive way, you can't just say it's crap.

Thanks
