Default Need Help setting up my Heals

Finally got time to get back to WoW, but I need to set up my heals.

I'm using a shaman Heals for my 5man team. How would you suggest that I set up the whole thing? I'm using FTL. From what it looks like I have 4 heals to set up for 4 chars and for my tank it will need 6. So how do I not use up 22 keys to heal my chars?

How are you guys healing all your guys proficiently. If you suggest using healbot or grid please explain how your using it...I haven't been able to figur out how you would use it if your on the tank screen and cant switch screens.

What I'm trying to do is do all my healing from my main screen (my tank). I have all my dps going fine I just need to get my Heals up and working better than they are.

Not sure on the capability of mouse broadcasting with every software option. With IS Boxer, I broadcast mouse clicks (auto turns on, within a configured region and off when leaving that area) when over my grid frame.

So on any toon, I can heal every toon.
Just click on the frame that is getting lower, choose the click type to determine the heal for that frame, and I'm done.

You can use Vuhdo/Healbot for this (Frame + Click interpretation in one addon) or Open RDX (ultimate in configurable frames) or Grid + GridCustomLayouts. You'd need Clique or something similar for OpenRDX or Grid.

With any option, you want an alphabetical sort, so the same frame refers to the same toon, on any character.

In grid, I accomplish this via:

/Grid Config
Click Layouts.
Click Advanced.
Click New.

Enter: " order=NAME; " (without the quotes).

Then Save.

You can also get yourself a persistent list of only your toons, with:

nameList="ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE"

You do need the quotes for this one.
So I read this but what I am not getting is how is it sent to the healer from the main window like the tank? I can see how this would all work if I were on my hearler but not how to send it from one game to another (broadcasting).

FYI i'm using pwnboxer.

Ualaa doesn't use Pwnboxer, He uses ISboxer which has something called repeater regions where mouseclicks are sent to all WoWs.

This is how I do my heals in Pwnboxer.
Pwnboxer healing question

Tim mentioned quite a while back, that Pwnboxer had something akin to 'Repeater Regions' in development.

My software, automatically turns on mouse broadcasting whenever the mouse is within a defined region, and sends the mouse action (movement, click, modifier + click, etc) to the recipients which can be any combination/number of toons.

You could duplicate 'Repeater Regions' now, by enabling mouse broadcasting and clicking the Grid frame. However, turning on and then disabling mouse broadcasting all the time would be a bit slower then using Dockable Clickmaps. I'd think Repeater Regions would be the stronger option for heals, as you can go with Left Click = Renew, Ctrl Left Click = Penance/G.Heal, Shift Left Click = PW: Shield, Right Click = Flash Heal, Alt Right Click = Prayer of Mending etc... But Dockable Clickmaps (same as Clickbars, in IS Boxer) are stronger for toggles or a visual representation of a feature being enabled or disabled.

Tim mentioned, the PB version would be similar, except that it would broadcast from one area to another area, instead of from one area to that same area on the destination toon(s). Not sure when this feature will be added, but it will add a lot of flexibility and options to PB. More options are always better then less options, and this is a feature which is coming/in development.

My heals - all on the Keypad:

0 - Heal tank
1 - Heal first party member
2 - Heal second party member
3 - Heal third party member
. - Heal fourth party member

I also have it set up so that the + key is seen as a modifier, and the same keys are all my AoE heals and stuff when I press + instead of single target heals.
