| i was looking for an add on that made setting up / leveling a team faster. sence im new to multiboxing i am leveling up my teams still and i like for them to be able to help as i go. so makeing a bunch of macros that alow each one to target the focus and then use spell ______ just seemed a bit rough. so was makeing a single focus macro for each and hopeing they cast the spells on the correct target. so i went looking for an add on for my teams and found MacroShare off the curse gameing web site MacroShare - Addons - Curse . if you dont trust the link just go curse.com and look under wow addons and type macro in the search it was like top 5 or so. the program is simple didnt seem to slow down the boxing at all, it takes your guildies and puts them in a list as well as players who you can manually enter into the add on's data base. as long as each account has the add on they can see each other's macros and auto copy em, the only problem so far is it dosent keep the name of the macro's. i went from what used to take me 20-30 min to set up a new 5 man team to 4 min. and expect a lot less time useage when i have the guys get new skills/spells via leveling up. |

| I generally open up a text editor. Build a macro there. And then copy/paste it in for each of the toons on a team. I suppose an addon can do the same for you. It is nice that you can share an addon from within the game. If you ever, spur of the moment, add something on one of the toons. And want the others to have it too. |

| Senior Member | I guess the problem for me is that addons like this really only cater to teams of the same class. 95% of my macros are different on each toon I play on my mixed team (see sig)

| true its not so great for mixed teams, but for single class or spec teams its a lot faster. but also it alows you to copy the same macro over and over so if it has the base code you want and you just need to change the spell it uses or skill it uses you can just copy an extra one add the new spell name in place of the old one and your done wiht out haveing to add the #showtooltip, /assist focus, and /cast to each charactor for every new skill/spell. |
