| Hello, So i have a mage and druid in my team and I wanna make use of their CC. Is there a macro the lets you sheep/entangle at the same time if you assign the mobs you want controlled by raid targeting them? Thanks |

| Senior Member | You mean something like... Code: /cast [target={skull}] Polymorph
You'd probably have to rig something up to use a focus target. I don't know enough about the FTL method, but there's something similar with that as well. Maybe Ualaa can chime in. |

| The question of how to define marked targets in a macro was one of the first questions I had when I started my pve team ![]() The best I could come up with was to use the focus frame to hold CC targets. I'm pretty sure I broke this macro at some point trying different things but it's what I have for my mage on my PvE team where the dps keep the tank targeted and use target=targettarget macros.so you probably have to modify it for a FTL setup. Right now I only have a 5x shaman and 5x dk team using FTL and they don't have spamable CC options, and it's easy to setup round robin macros or just switch leads. MACRO 16777222 "Poly" Spell_Magic_PolymorphChicken #showtooltip Polymorph /clearfocus [mod:shift] /stopmacro [mod:shift] /clearfocus [target=focus, dead]; [target=focus, help] /assist /focus [target=focus, noexists] /cast [target=focus] Polymorph /targetlasttarget You can put /stopcasting in there but personally due to my latency that often didn't work for me in one button press(if I'm still playing when cata comes I'll finally get around to moving to a server that's located physically on the east coast...). I also just threw the second clear focus in from looking at my old PvE mages focus poly macro, otherwise I just had the clear on shift so I could change CC targets if the old one was still alive Fun Fact: On my old mage I tacked /use Staff of Disintegration at the end of his poly macro and never took it out |

| In Arena, you can target by the Arena Frame. And can macro to have a toon target=Arena1 etc. Outside of arena, your best bet is probably Focus. You can round robin your focus, so each gets a target in turn. Just target the first one, press the Focus key. Target the next one, press the Focus key. On the teams that do this, I have that toon announce who their focus is. You can also macro raid symbols, but can only place them on mobs... I wanted to mark PvP opponents. Then have an execute type command... /cast [target=Focus] CrowdControlSpell |
