Macaroon: (bars and macros)

Bartender4 is a good "bar-tender", however if you want to use more advanced features you will end up looking at Macaroon. From what I have read you get up to 1023 char to use in your macros. The 255 char limit in WoW starts to hurt people who love macros. Macaroon also has it's own bars. It is, however a pain to set up when you don't understand how to use it.

So, I created this thread here for people to ask there questions and for the community of multiboxing.com to help answer them...I'm a bit new to it and have found some helpful information out here and there.

I am trying to use the Down Click and UP Click features but having problems.

I put two macros up for testing.
first: /s down <---in macro Down Clicks is checked
second: /s up <----in macro UP Clicks is checked

both on different slots on the bar. I need them to work like this....I push "1" and when it goes down i need it to do the first macro..then when "1" comes UP it will do the second macro. I have gone into Binding and bound the First macro button to "1" and then locked it. Then I did that to the second bacro button too.

However, when I push "1" it will only do the UP macro. What am I doing wrong?

I do not have an answer for you, but I thought maul (creator of macaroon) quit Wow and said he will no longer update this addon...

did he decide to come back? or did someone else take up the addon for him?
