Hi. I did a search and found that no one has talked about this great addon. LoseControl is an addon that lets you see a big icon on your screen with the duration countdown in it (only if you use OmniCC or CooldownCount). It is very useful to track debuffs that otherwise you might not notice with all those buffs on you. It can track Stuns, Fears, Disorients, Snares, Roots, Silences and Disarms. It is very useful in PvP and also PvE if for some reason you don't notice that your other characters have one of those debuffs I mentioned above. You can unlock the icon frames and move them anywhere on your screen. It can track Player, Party, Target and Focus debufs. You don't really need the addon enabled on your slave toons unless you really use FTL to change your leader all the time. Here are some screenshots of how LoseControl looks. 1. This one is showing your target's debuff (which is a stun Hammer of Justice) and since I'm in a party with the target it also shows the debuff on the party icon. http://usera.ImageCave.com/akrone123...409_191507.jpg 2. This one shows my debuff (which is a snare Frost Shock) and since I have myself targetted and I'm the focus it also shows the debuff for those 2 frames. http://usera.ImageCave.com/akrone123...409_191521.jpg 3. This one shows the LoseControl options frame and since I have unlock checked, I can move it anywhere I want to move it and also can enlarge/shrink the icon for each one by choosing the appropiate tab. Notice it also shows the cooldown numbers while unlocked. There is also a disable OmniCC/CooldownCount option if you dont want to see the numbers. http://usera.ImageCave.com/akrone123...409_191537.jpg [IMPORTANT EDIT] Above this I mention it will only show one debuff at a time (I have deleted it since it was incorrect). That is true but from testing yesterday. I see it only shows the debuff with the LONGEST ACTIVE duration. So if a rogue pops out and mutilates you and you receive Crippling Poision (you can disable snares in LC), it will be a 10 second duration (lower if you have snare reduction talents), and say he 2 combo points Kidney Shot you and Crippling Poision is now at 8 seconds left. Kidney Shot will NOT show because Crippling Poision duration is at 8 seconds and Kidney Shot with 2 combo points is only 3 seconds. It is best to leave snares unchecked since they are easy to take off and are the most spammable. Last edited by solilos; 08-27-2009 at 07:01 PM.

| Thats actually really interesting. Could look really smooth on a broadcast to make it easier to see whats going on for the viewers.

FTL = Focusless, Targetless, Leaderless As in you don't need to focus any group members. You don't target any enemies/players directly and all your toons can be the "leader" when you switch them to the main window. FTL is all done by macros but they get quite long and it takes some time to actually do it. I tried it before but for me it's really only useful for PvP. And I may put up some videos on YouTube later showing the addon . Last edited by solilos; 08-25-2009 at 06:12 AM.

Actually FTL is a really bad way to name things, because it DOES require focus to be set, it DOES require a leader, and it DOES require a target. Whoever came up with FTL as an acronym really sucks at making acronyms ![]() But yea, awesome mod, I'm going to put it up on my Shamans next broadcast!!!

Great Tim. But there is only one thing I forgot to mention. If you are using any addon for your unit frames (since you use X-Perl). You will need to disable it (you can just uncheck the first X-Perl unitframes option since that is the one that enables the rest), log in and type /lc in chat, unlock the icons for LoseControl then drag them to the middle of your screen (all of them). Lock them, enable X-Perl then log back in and type /lc then click unlock and they should be visible and then move them to anywhere you like. Also, I notice you sometimes have LindLine run you through instances and you need to kick one of your toons out of the party. LoseControl goes by party members and not specific characters, so it will still show if anyone in your group changes
