Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning chain casting

So I had a question about doing this. With my three hunters and a shaman set up the only ability he uses on regular pulls besides casting his totems is Lightning Bolt and in the future Chain Lightning. Is there a macro command that allows you to cast the same spell over until the target is dead without typing it in like 10 times into a macro?

example:

#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=target Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt

[Verdres]

umm /cast Lightning Bolt? :P

So there is no way besides spamming the same key that is linked to that spell on the Shaman. Thats all I needed to know. Thanks.

You do have to use it over and over, otherwise if you try and do what you said, Blizzard would consider that automation and it would be against the rules.

Do this: Say your hunters have a macro key bound to something like arcane shot. Say it is ALT+1. Well, make a macro on your shaman that will lightning/chain lighting, bind it to ALT+1, that way 1 key can make your whole group dps.

Make the macro like:

/cast [nodead, enemy] Lightning Bolt

I'm not 100% on the syntax but I believe that would be right. That way it won't lightning bolt if you are selecting a shaman to heal, but only if you are selecting a mob.

Well Chain Lightning has a cooldown. 6 seconds untalented and 3.5 seconds with Storm, Earth, and fire. So you should be looking at a castsequence macro.

/castsequence [nodead, enemy] reset=6 Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt

or if talented (I put 4 seconds because I'm not sure if 3.5 is a valid reset number):

/castsequence [nodead, enemy] reset=4 Chain Lightning, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, LIghtning Bolt, Lightning Bolt

I arbitrarily added extra Lightning Bolts into the sequence to account for Bloodlust. That way the sequence resets according to the CD of Lightning Bolt (which is the only restriction on this sequence) and not because you ran out of Lightning Bolts to cast.
