I use two kinds of macros: regular blizzard kind that I treat just like muffin said, and jamba kind that I keybind but do not attempt to create visible buttons for. The later I use for controlling the heal & dps actions of slaves.

So how do you make more bars then with tukui? Because you need a heck of a lot more than the 1 default one. I saw some option to increase bars to 4 in config file, but when i change it and reload UI it is still the same.

Also, i'm not following the macro thing, reason people used bartender was so you can assign say F1 to a key on all characters so it goes to all?

In the default Blizzard interface, we have the option for six bars worth of buttons. The first two bars are mutually exclusive, but you can display either of these with five additional bars.

That's 60 slots for spells or macros.

Also, you can put something on the bar, and hotkey the button. And then hide the bar and still be able to use the macro/button to do whatever, without the screen clutter.

I realize the Blizzard frames and bars aren't the best option at all times and are especially less visually pleasing, but they have a huge benefit of never breaking on a patch.

You should read up a TON on the Tuklui website. I have... 6 bars enabled on my Tukui I think? But ya there are tons of FAQs on the tukui.config file in its addon directory.
