| I recommend Vuh-Do for all your healers while multiboxing. You can use it to create buttons that are big enough to read in the miniature screens without having to switch to your healer. You can set up a multitude of different types of heal spells on each button depending on how many mouse buttons you use. For instance, if I look in my healer's mini screen and notice that the button for my mage is turning yellow I can right click on his button and he gets Renew cast on him. If I notice that my warlock's button is turning orange or even red, then I can left click on his button in the healer's mini screen and cast a greater heal without ever leaving the main window where I control the tank. I have made the buttons in my healer windows huge, about 1/3 of the miniscreen so I can easily see them while I focus on the tank. Last edited by eqdude; 01-08-2010 at 02:57 PM. |

| I'm using Grid+GridCustomLayouts +Clique. Not sure on the capability of mouse broadcasting with every software option. With IS Boxer, I broadcast mouse clicks (auto turns on, within a configured region and off when leaving that area) when over my grid frame. So on any toon, I can heal every toon. Just click on the frame that is getting lower, choose the click type to determine the heal for that frame, and I'm done. You can use Vuhdo/Healbot for this (Frame + Click interpretation in one addon) or Open RDX (ultimate in configurable frames) or Grid + GridCustomLayouts. You'd need Clique or something similar for OpenRDX or Grid. With any option, you want an alphabetical sort, so the same frame refers to the same toon, on any character. In grid, I accomplish this via: /Grid Config Click Layouts. Click Advanced. Click New. Enter: " order=NAME; " (without the quotes). Then Save. You can also get yourself a persistent list of only your toons, with: nameList="ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE" You do need the quotes for this one. |

| Vuh-Do is a lot simpler, and I can tell at a glance when a toon is getting low on health. Then, I click on the same bar that tells me the toon's health. I'm running a pally, two disc priests, mage, and warlock. I finished SM Chapel with all 5 toons at lvl 41, no problems. |

| Any of them are really simple to see when a toon is hurt and needs heals. Vuhdo and Healbot are integrated, display + click action. OpenRDX is by far the most powerful, in what can be displayed and how. Grid is good, if that is what you like and are used to. They all do basically the same thing, in the end. The passing of mouse clicks, to the healer from the active window, is what makes these extremely nice for boxing. |

| I use my numpad for all my healing keys. Works like a charm for me. |

| Super Moderator | Yup, I use the numpad too (granted i'm only dualboxing), but it works like a charm for me as well. Numpad 1 heals my main, Numpad 2 heals my slave.

| That's the nice thing about boxing. You can heal or dps in a lot of different ways. You can do pvp, arena, heroics, raids, etc. There are a massive number of compositions to use. Several viable software options to do all of these, or go hardware which works too. Everyone has a system, which works for them. And even if I use (a) and someone else uses (b), we can each post how we have accomplished something, and someone else can use part of it, to better their own method. |

| I'm lazy. I have two buttons only. One where all slave shamans cast chain heal on themselves (which heals anyone near them too) and one where all slave shamans chain heal tank (which heals everyone near him too). It works well enough in Outland still. Guess I'll need more fancy healing when I hit WotLK.
