How do you start new charactors Key bindings?

So is it "safe" to just remove all keybindings on Slaves, except the basic WASD or whatever you prefer. Then start from scratch so no conflicts with bartender4?

I'm thinking of removing all macros and start from scratch because me setup is just not "feeling" right when playing. I'm playing 5 druids, with 1feral for tank and other 4 spell damage and healing on the side, druids have a ton of icons to contend with and thought maybe this is what everyone does?

Anyone else do this, is it recommended?

Anyone know if the keybinds are stored locally anywhere? I prefer creating baseline templates for stuff like this (I did this with my macro-cache.txt files for my various teams to simplify swapping).

Well apparently bartender stores its own keyconfig, because i remove all key bindings on slaves, then reinstalled bartender4 and they came back. ugg.

I'm having a real hard time getting my group situated like i want. Maybe i'm doing it wrong.

I can't for the life of me get this focus healing thing working, I want to assign Shift-1-4 (one for each slave) as heals to heal fearal druid I think.

The problem i'm having with current setup is just using healbot addon, so anytime I use another slave to heal I lose focus on target with main to melee with.

I've tried different heal settings people suggested here, but none seem work with multiple mobs attacking me, where i need to heal faster.

Well, I had to strip the F1-F12 binds because thats what I use for pwnboxer controls. However, I didn't touch the rest of my bindings from how I have them when soloboxing.

Another thing is, I built my broadcast list from scratch. When i started, I just cleared out one of the lists and just put them in as I needed them. My list is still far shorter than default.

If you go into World of Warcraft >> WTF >> Account >> Your Account Name >> Saved Variables, and delete the Bartender.LUA and Bartender.LUA.Bak...

And...

If you go into World of Warcraft >> WTF >> Account >> Your Account Name >> Your Server Name >> Your Toon Name >> Saved Variables, and delete the Bartender.LUA and Bartender.LUA.Bak

That will clear out all of the previous settings for the addon.
As in, a reinstall will have default values, with nothing yet set.




As far as hotkeys for a druid team.

You'll want your tanking keys for the Feral.
Not sure how many of these you'll use.
But on the same keybinds, you'll want your DPS Click key.
So any move you do with the Bear, results in the others doing their DPS.

Then you have a choice.
You can go with a dedicated healer, perhaps dual spec.
And have only one toon healing, with the other three as full time DPS.
Or alternatively, you can go with no dedicated heals, and 4x mostly dps sometimes healers.

If you go with a dedicated healer, you'd probably want to have a deep Resto spec.
And then to not have the Click broadcast to the healer.
As in those keys for Feral + DPS moves, do nothing on the healer.
And then create some keys for toon specific heals, and for assist based heals.
With Wild Growth, you have a phenominal AoE group heal too.

If you go with 4x DPS, you'll have to decide how to manage Moonkin Form.
Will one retain this form always, with the other three on heals?
Will all four spec for it, and drop/take Moonkin as you cast heals?
Will any of them go Moonkin?
The easiest method might be to insert modifiers into your Click.
Something like:

So you put your IS castsequence on button 1, Moonfire castsequence on button 2, and then your Wrath/Starfire or /Random Wrath Starfire on button 3.

I was going to use feral on main to "tank" and use other 4 as casters dps. Then heal with them myself.

Is there a way to mousebroadcast on slaves but not main guy?

I have a 2nd mouse could I use that? save lots of hardache.

Not sure if you can do that with PB now, or if will be an upcoming feature.

With IS Boxer, you can create "repeater regions", where mouse broadcasting turns on automatically while you mouse is in the region. You can choose KVM mode, where the click while within the region is not sent to the screen in which your mouse resides; this lets you click a Vuhdo/Grid/Healbot/OpenRDX frame on your tank, and not acquire your tank/ally as their target. The repeater regions allow you to pass the click (along with any modifiers, such as Alt + Ctrl + Mouse Button 5) to the character or characters of your choice.

Combining this with an addon for click based heals, such as Vuhdo, Clique or Healbot is an amazingly easy way to heal. On any toons screen, click the Grid frame of the hurt toon, and have your healer heal that target. You just need to ensure the sorting is alphabetical, so the 3rd frame is the same toon on every screen.

yes it will bring back the key bindings if u reinstall it. But if you push "Esc" then click Key Bindings you can find bartender4's Key Bindings in there and u can simply delete them in there and they will stay gone until you re-install Bartender4.
