| I tryed out many different FocusTarget attack macroes but non of them worked as they should Like /Focus [Target=ToonA's Name] /Follow [Target=Focus] with this as Cast macro /cast [Target=FocusTarget] "spell" and /target ToonA /focus /follow And some other similar. But when i used them my casters just targeted another target and started nuking. and made me Whipe alot. so i used #showtooltips spell /assist toonA name /cast spell for a long time. but if toonA died i could't jump to toonB and use it. So after some thinking i made this macro and it works like a dream #showtooltips Spell /Target FocusTarget /cast Spell So if you made a macro for each Toon like this one. /target Toon Name /focus /follow With keybinding like F1 for toonA F2 for ToonB and so on you can just jump trough all characters and still be able to controll them. There is a Macro Called Focusless/Targetless/Leaderless multiboxing system for this Team Malaias - FTL Setup but i found this one easyer to make and less work. I hope this helped With your Focus Target Macro. Now go PvP or something Regard Something |

| If you're using a Focus based system, you will generally have something like this: On Shift F1 (Or any other keybind you like) /Focus [Target=ToonA] On Shift F2 /Focus [Target=ToonB] Have one focus macro for each member of your team. And have them all on the same keybinds. So if you run a five-box set up, then have everyone focus ToonA on Shift F1, and everyone focus ToonB on Shift F2, etc, for your whole team. Your follow will be: /Follow [target=Focus] Most toons can cast at the Target of the Focus: /Cast [target=FocusTarget] Nastiness Some toons (Hunters, with bows/crossbows/guns, or Casters shooting with Wands) will want to assist first, for auto shot fun: /Assist [target=Focus] /Cast Nastiness You can use a /castsequence in the place of /cast, or you could insert the [target=FocusTarget] or /assist [Target=Focus] into a click castsequence with equal success. Similarly, if you wanted, a /castrandom [target=FocusTarget] will be fine. As far as targeting goes, you will have double your latency as a delay from the time your active toon (The Focus) chooses a target until your slaves realize which target the focus is on, or that the Focus has switched targets. This is due to the way the game works. You choose a target, and it takes a moment for the server to know what you have targeted. It then takes a moment to communicate what your toon has targeted to others (ie, your group). Whether you /assist ToonName, /assist Focus, /assist [target=Party1] it doesn't matter... the delay until the slaves know what the leader has targeted is double your latency. If you switch targets and wait for a second or two, the slaves should know what the leader has selected and not misfire. They will misfire sometimes, but not too often. An FTL system does not rely on their Focus, their Target, or the Party Leader to determine assist; however, it is subject to the same double-latency for the slaves to know who the leader has switched to. The only reason a lot of PvP teams try to avoid a Focus based system is that your toons know what they are targeting and they know what their Focus is. So you could Focus the healer on the other team, and then start nuking a damage dealer. At any point, you could hit a spell on everyone to /cast [target=Focus] and they will seamlessly switch, as each already knows what their focus is, without any delay. |
