Focus not working...

can anyone think of a reason I can not seem to set a focus on one whole account? It is weird that on all the toons on that account I can not set a focus...

I use x-perl and the focus is turned on.

Yep it's because you're using Xperl I had the same problem and I switched to pitbull and it works, then I just got rid of pitbull.

I would just not use Xperl when trying to use focus.

This is odd because I use XPerl and never have run into this issue, not even once. Hmm?

Yeah that's the weird thing, I have some friends that multibox and they don't have a problem with Xperl and focus but then other friends do. I think it may be interaction with other addons because an errror message always came up for me when I tried to focus with xperl.

I have one copy of wow... i am running all 3 instances of wow on the same pc with all the addons the same... and only 1 does not work... very weird

I would have to say that its an issue with either your macros or your key bindings.

Best bet is to test your key bindings by putting "/say blah" in the macro, and then hitting the keybound keys to verify bindings.

Then hit the broadcasted key in Pwnboxer to verify that is broadcasting the right key (as in, the key is listed in the broadcast key config).

Then cut/paste what normally is in there, to verify that works.

Then combine them into the normal keybind/macro set up to verify that works.

But the weird thing is, when you say that its either the macros or keybindings, even if you right click the target and click focus, it didn't work. That was for me though may be different for him.

What happens if you manually type:

/focus (whatever characters name)
/follow focus

Same thing happened, an error came up. Then I just got rid of Xperl and used the default unit frames and it worked.
