focus gone bananas whats wrong? - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

okay i have a quite simple setup for my chars:

Focus the char i want as master:
/focus toon1 (on a separate macro)
/focus toon2 (on a separate macro)
/focus toon3 (on a separate macro)
/focus toon4 (on a separate macro)

cast spells in macro for all the chars:
/assist focus
/cast spell

this makes it easy to switch around the slaves to new masters, now it works nicely but the problem: is when i target something and change target many times my master keeps targeting the mob i had beforen as target wich is usually death. why is my focus target change by itself to previous target? am i doing something wrong?

please any help is apreciated.....i died so much in pve and pvp due to this

Thats why.

You are getting wtfpwned by latency.
Remove the /Assist focus part on the masters macro and it will be good.
Or just go with a FTL setup.

ohh okay thanks alot, though i dont understand how thats made, i read it a couple of times but doesnt make sence to me.

/cast [target=focustarget] Spell

Works much better imo =)

The trouble with /cast [target=focustarget] Spell is that your toons doesn't have a target, which makes channeling spells not work properly. If my toon doesn't have a target I can't wand or Mind Flay, etc.

Wanding works for my Locks

/assist focus
/cast

is the exact same thing as

/cast [target=focustarget]

except that in the latter you dont actually switch targets... which combats issues such as latency
