| Hi everyone, Been a long time since I played WoW. I am currently working on dual-boxing my DK and Paladin to 85. I want to run them both as a Dps spec being: Ret pal and frost 2hd DK respectively. Also before I begin with the questions I use pwnboxer for boxing. My question is what would be the best(most efficient) way to run these guys as far as macroing is considered? The plan is to quest them while being qued in the dungeon finder, so I will be occasionally doing the non-heroics with obviously 3 other random ppl. Thanks for the replys in advance ![]() -RoD |

| Frost has two priority sequences, but not a straight macro castsequence. Howling Blast is your main ability, it uses a Frost Rune (which you have two of) or a Death Rune (your two Blood Runes are permanently Death Runes now). Frost Strike is your Runic Power dump, and it has a chance to instantly refresh one rune; plus aside from Obliterate, it hits harder than any other ability. Your Unholy Rune will be Necrotic Strike (at 83+) or Plague Strike (until you have Necrotic Strikes). The secondary sequence is single target. Obliterate, which uses 1x Frost & 1x Unholy Runes (and after two uses, it will use both Death Runes). And then Frost Strike for the Runic Power dump. This is frequently combined with Hungering Cold, which is a point-blank AoE CC effect. Not sure on the rotation that a Ret Pally would use. Divine Storm will generate Holy Power, if you hit enough targets; otherwise Crusader Strike is your primary attack. Consecrate is in there, for AoE. Not really sure how their rotation works. They can Word of Glory, which is based off of Holy Power. Use this for a Self Heal or to heal the DK. Double DPS is definitely the way to go for leveling. And Frost is far superior to Unholy for straight damage. You could possibly run Protection Paladin + DPS DK. A Paladin does fairly good damage, when they are being beat upon. And you can enable extra threat from Holy damage. If you were planning on doing PvE dungeon queues, the DK can go Blood and the Paladin can go Holy. |
