Hiya I'm totally new to the whole multiboxing thing and I been running into some difficulty. I can't seem to figure out how to make my team line up in a formation instead of ontop of eachother. example: main-Dailynn in the middle mage- Dyleena to my right shaman-Sacie to my left priest-Fayola behind me can anyone write a step to step instruction on how to do this with a macro (if it can be done) or a keymap using isboxer? I can't seem to do it right and its frustating! Thanks in advance FaerieGurl-Addicted wow player

If your software supports Keymaps, you can create a Keymap for this. Pwnboxer will have Keymaps soon, KC and ISBoxer also support Keymaps. With a Keymap, you choose a hotkey to press. And it is broadcast differently to the other windows. So you might press Up Arrow on the main account. Which then sends Q (strafe left) to your shaman. And E (strafe right) to your mage. And back arrow to your priest. Alternatively, you can accomplish this with Keybindings within wow, with any boxing program. Pick an unused keybind like the Tilde " ~ " key. Assign it as the secondary bind to each desired motion. By default both Down Arrow and S are assigned to move backwards. Your desired motions are Strafe Left, Strafe Right and move backwards. You'd need to change move backwards from Down Arrow or S on the Priest. And then add ~ as Strafe Left for one toon, and Strafe right for another. As an aside, you move backwards at half speed. But forwards or strafe at full speed. So moving Forward + Left Strafe + Right Strafe, and a stationary toon, gets you a more perfect star. Moving backwards will make one slightly lopsided.

You'll need to disable follow strobe in Jamba or anywhere else that periodically turns on follow. The act of moving into a formation should break auto follow. Movement while in a formation will eventually break, since each toon is not looking in precisely the same direction. You will need movement keys which are mapped to every client, so you can push the equivalent of WASD with each client receiving the forward key etc. Any movement other then forward/back or strafing side to side will destroy the formation pretty quickly.

I've only bothered with three formations in my IS Boxer guide. It was more of a how to set up formations with Keymaps, then a look at the formations. If you can devise the formation you would like to have. It's not that hard to get toons into it, with a series of forward/back/strafe instructions to each.
