Something very funky has been happening to me with the team follow. I use my numpad to broadcast movement to my slaves without affecting my master's movement. Prior to a fight, I hit the back key (numpad2) to break follow. 95% of the time, it works as intended but sometimes the toons keep moving backwards like the key is constantly being pushed. I thought it might be the numpad, so I reassigned the key to the back arrow key and the same thing. I played with this a little bit over the past days and it happens on every direction key that I broadcast to my toons. I use a G15 keyboard. Needless to say, it can be real irritating and has led to some really funny wipes on boss fights. So, is there a command to break follow that I can use instead? And more importantly anyone who has seen this "glitch"?

| Senior Member | I have seen that problem a couple times myself but to answer your question there is no "stop following" command in WoW right now. I have a Dock Map button mapped to my "up arrow" called "nudge". I just click this button when I want follow to stop.

The only ways to break follow are turning the toon or giving the command for movement in a new direction. I have my set up with: WASD/QE moving the current active toon (master), and the Arrow Keys moving the non-active toons (slaves). However, arrow key or numpad key should not make a difference as far as the key getting stuck in a down state, or having the game assume it does. Interact with Target sometimes has the auto-run behavior for me, but that's the only time it occurs. In my case, any WASD key or Arrow key, or pressing my follow key (if within range) or using IWT on a new target all break (stop) the auto run. If you're using Jamba to Strobe-Follow, there is an option to toggle (enable/disable) this via a command. However, even disabled you are still on follow and need movement (or turning) to break it. Possibly use left/right turn, instead of movement, to break follow. If the key gets stuck for whatever reason, your toon is at least not running off possibly into hostile mobs.

It's not a mouse problem for me, it's a keyboard problem (or maybe a pwnboxer bug?) It's almost like sometimes the keys are "locked" and keep transmitting the movement key to my slaves even after I "nudge" the key to break follow. I was not able to reproduce the error (it happens completely random) I can't uninstall the keyboard driver because I bought the keyboard for the sole purpose of being able to use the g-keys Any ideas ?

What do I do during boss fight though? When I need to switch formations or run away from the fire/etc ? It's been ugly sometimes with my toons running around in different directions

I'd suggest trying another set of keys for independent slave movement. For example, I use WASD/QE for the main/active toon. And the arrow keys for slaves... don't have Strafe set on them, so forward is generally the only option to get out of puddles of death. The numpad keys can be more buggy then others, because the system looks at them as two different keys depending on if NumLock is on or off. I believe someone mentioned Pwnboxer had an option to lock the NumLock state one way or the other, so that is worth looking into as well. I'd probably just move the independent slave movement keys elsewhere, and see if that helps or not.

I tried binding them to the arrow keys and same problem ![]() My encounter with the Tribunal of Ages last night was very interesting... I found that sometimes I can bounce back quickly if I hit my assist and ITW key but sometimes NOTHING helps and I just have to wait and wipe
