| Hehe, so this is just a "minor technicality", just wondering if there is a workaround. Im multiboxing 10 toons. When i do dailies i run with two groups of 5 in each. My rutine: i inv 4 others, then make raid, then the others. Then i press the /focus main /assist focus button. Works well (got a separate for /follow focus). My "dilemma": First i inv 4 others to my group. I press a button (makes toon nr 6 invite toon 7 to 10 = grp 2 made). (now all have the main as /focus (from mentioned above). Sometimes, due to ingame cutscenes mainly, when i emerage on the other side, grp 2 has lost their /focus (me). This means i cant controll them any longer, and the button /focus main /assist main = does not work. (usually i just press a button to disband all groups, make a raid so they get focus back, then disband raid, make 2 grps of 5 again and im good to go again). but...is there a new macro i could create to workaround this? ![]() thx again folks Last edited by Newbox; 07-03-2011 at 01:35 AM. |

| Good news! I managed to solve this on my own ![]() When i am in two 5man groups, and gr nr 2 looses focus on me in group 1 (due to zoning into a new location / event ingame), i do it like this: I make all target me. Then i made a slight alteration to the macro: Instead of: /focus Main /assist focus (which comes up as invalid if grp 2 members arent in same raidgroup as me) Use.... /focus main /focus /assist focus For some reason just adding /focus did it! /enjoy |

/target Maincharname /focus second hot key: /assist focus /follow focus /cast ...etc... depending on which character class this hot key is being set for. | |

| I had a fight with the macros myself, and I just ended up doing like so: Team 1, main guy in that team is named "Main1", as an example, and he is also my master. Team 2, main guy in that team is named "Main2". The first 5 toons, which is the first party, uses the following: /focus main1 And party #2 uses: /focus Main1 /focus [modifier:ctrl] Main2 So, when I simply hit the focus macro - they will all focus my master. BUT if I hold down control, party #2 will focus the leader of that party. Also, holding down control will still go through on party #1 and make the leader focus. The follow macro is another difference. For party #1, the follow macro is: /follow Focus BUT for party #2 the follow macro is: /follow focus /follow [modifier:ctrl] Main1 This means that whenever I hold down control while pressing my follow macro, all 9 slaves will follow my main regardless of the focus. Holding down control will still make party #1s follow macro trigger and follow Main1. So, when I take those trips to 5-man dungeons with party #2 I don't have to take my time to mess around with macros just to make sure they focus and follow Main2. I made it sound so confusing, but hopefully you get what I'm saying. |
