buffing 4x buff on 4x diff pallys

Will /targetparty get around to yourself or just everyone else in the party?

SmartBuff is still a much better way to do this. You can buff everyone in a raid with it, or just your party. It will also refrain from buffing someone who is already buffed. Once it's setup you don't have to change anything if you are in a raid, a BG, a 5 man group or just soloing with one toon.

And to answer my own question, /targetparty will not select yourself. I still like my addon-less version.

I use macros like Poyzon to do this with my 3 man pally team, I use /castsequence so I can see the buffs icon ticking off 1,2,3 so to speak.

My 3 guys are named different (rather than a,b,c):
1. Soregums
2. Clault
3. Posis

I also have SuperDuperMacro which is:
a) great for copy pasting a lua file between the three accounts
b) simple for clicking other macros (rather than assigining to an action bar and calling that action bar button)

Then for each character i pick a blessing to cast and put:
1. the "Team" blessing on the left
2. Soregums to the right Team
3. Clault to the right of Soregums
4. Posis to the right of Clault

Key bind the "Team" button in each window and on each key press:
1. Soregums blessing goes dark
2. then Clault
3. then Posis goes dark for a second and all three go light again as it is at the end of the /castsequence :)

All blessed.
Having done this I also get how /castsequence works =)

I have the Pally Power addon, however I couldn't get its key bindings to work as this addon would have done everything... the advantage of pally power is being able to set the blessings from the mast account...

Smart Buff is probably the best addon option.
It is good for more then just pally buffs.

Spam a single key, until it stops casting things.
Give it the same keybind in every window.
And away you go.
