Bind movment to 3 keys? (wow supports 2)

By default you can open up the keybind menu in wow and set say "Move Backward" to 2 different keys.

Does anyone know a way I could do this for more than 2 keys, at least 3 but 4 or 5 maybe?

Here's why...

I often 5 box my shaman but I also often play each of them solo, if someone has a spot in an heroic or a raid i'll hop on one that needs some gear or badges. As such I want to leave the standard WSAD QE as the movemnt keys (foward, backward, left, right strafe ect you get the idea), so I can just hope on and play anyone of them.

I also wanted to have the arrow keys set to strafe the whole group left or right or have them keyboard turn to face a target if say the leader dies.

That is all working fine atm

But I know also want to beable to setup formations something like this that we have likely all seen before

Keybind

Toon1: \ to walk forward
Toon2: \ to walk backward
TOon3: \ strafe left
Toon4: \ strafe right

hold the keydown and they form a + pattern, then you could obviously tweak that to make them form a line or a box what ever, I want to use it mainly for easily spreading out before a pull or if i need to move out of fire on a boss or something

But I would have to over write one of the other keybinds.

So has anyone have any ideas? First time in a while I've been stuck like this lol, I mean WTH? its almost like Blizz didnt design the game to play 5 accounts at once... :P

With the default wow client, pretty much we have two keybinds maximum for each direction of movement.

If your boxing software supports Keymaps, you can accomplish this fairly easily.
A hotkey can be given a single step or multiple steps.
Single meaning it does the same thing on every press.
Multiple meaning it does something different on each step.
So your / key might initially send Q to two and E to two.
Then on the second press of / it sends Q to one and E to one, making a line.

So with Keymaps, you can essentially have a movement or series of movement, to create a formation on one hotkey.

I'm not sure what you're using to box, but keymaps are what you're looking for. It will redirect keystrokes, i.e.: once setup, you hit key "Z" on wow1, it translates to strafe left, right, forward and backward keys on wows 2/3/4/5.

Changing default keys bound isn't required.

Yup thats exactly what I am looking for but unfortunetly it isnt supported (at least to my knowledge) with pwnboxer..

I think I might have heard him mentioning that in the next version anyway but not sure.

It's supported in the next release, there are free alternatives that support it until the next version of pb is released though.

Ya when I first started out I used ********, and it worked but was just to much of a headache to get setup. Also some of the added features of pwnboxer are just too good to pass up.

Heck even just one start button to load all 5 wow instances is worth it alone!

If you're talking about KC, it can do that as well. I know because I'm currently using it.

Keymaps didnt quite make it to the 2.0 launch but its should be next up on the feature list.

Ya I saw that in the post about pwnboxer 2.0 yesterday, and OMG cant wait :P Probably a good thing its delayed anyway. Its finals week I have projects and studying I have to get done and I know dam well if it was out with keymapping I would be spending hours messing around with it instead :P

Keymaps are a very strong feature.
PB will be a much stronger product with their implementation.
