Default Re: beginner macro issue

All of your slaves need to have an in game focus set Focus target - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft. If your main toon's name is Joebob you need a macro on all of your slaves like this:

/focus Joebob

You hit this one time after your group forms and it should stay the same as long as you don't clear it. Then Joebos is the 'focus' of all of your slaves. Then your /assist focus or [target=focustarget] macros will get their target related to Joebob. Whatever Joebob is targeting your slaves will also target.
