it works great on all my channeled speels form evo on a mage to Aoe i add that a the start off both marcos and it will not even thinking about starting it av did it on a warlock on the ptr as well as i was going to add one in the group or have it as a exta toon but not sure about it anymore but it works great when getting stone i just used key like \ to make stone when the mod was at like 20%

/Petattack... is great for melee pets.
But for caster pets, it resets the pets spellcast with each click, which isn't that good for castsequences or click castsequences.

If you're running with an Imp, try:
/cast [pet:imp] Firebolt

Or alternatively, just put the pet on defensive and don't macro anything. The advantage of the macro is the pet can be made to target whatever your dps is focusing on, immediately.
