Awesome macro for my 1 Priest to heal 4 Hunter pets

I just tested that macro and put it on my spam Arcane Shot key and my priest now will constantly heal the Bear that is tanking hardcore and it is working out exceptionally well.

And if you want to use your trinkets (thanks to chat for the info)

Put your entire /castsequence of heals on targettarget.

Why not do:

Works like your macro but with a few twists:

1) You can still heal the bear taking damage even if your main is one of the hunters.
2) You can (with the same macro) heal a specific hunter or bear by targeting that hunter (or bear).
3) if nothing else ... it will heal your whoever is set to be your focus.

You have too many explicit healing macros and yet you still miss the major pvp stuff, like dispelling, proper cooldown usage, and smart use of your direct heals.

Install the addon. Take 5 or mins to get use to it and never look back. I don't use pwnboxer but if the zoom tool window accepts mouse events you can heal/cure/dispel your party with ease no matter which char you're driving with.

If you don't want healbot and you have a mouse with multiple buttons, replace your party frame with grid or a similar addon(i personally can't stand xperl, too much screen real estate for info that you can get in a fraction of the space). Set it to display group and raids in alphabetical order. Bind your heals and only your heals to your extra mouse buttons and broadcast those keys.

Full heal/cure/buff and dispel access, no matter what char you are driving. If you wanted to you could have all your hunter actions and your priest actions on any 5 button mouse while using the ctrl, shift, and alt modifiers. The priest its self just needs mousewheel up and down+modifiers(and this is uldar level play, 12+combos). Sounds complicated, but its alot easier than remembering your 3+ different heal macros, plus your 10 diff priest ability keys that you can't even access while driving your hunter(which you don't even use most of the time).

Step up your healing game and everything else will fall into place. It will also allow greater group flexibility in regards to spec.(yes, this again).

Never tried healbot ... but grid+clique is a amazing combo, its the only thing I REALLY need when I raid (I raid as a holy Paladin, dual speccs FTW).

I really like this, a lot! I'm going to update my priest to have a big fat button that does just this. I'm going to bind it to my Numpad+ key I believe as well.

The thing about grid/healbot is they don't really do anything useful when your healer is being multiboxed as an alt, which is what my priest is going to be doing in BGs and such. So that is where having precise macros comes in really well.

But with that said, yea, I'm going to get grid/healbot I believe on my priest for PVE when I main control him. It is going to help a, well, boatload

I actually use

\cast [target=partypet1] Flash Heal

I do have to create a macro for each partypet and use a button for each, witch are placed next to there Unitframe.

The problem with this macro (I think) is that because the priest will still have a focus, it will match the first conditional and heal the focustargettarget first instead of a target

so the way the macro would be written to use target (or targettarget) would be to have [target=target] or [target=party1] etc before the [target=focustargetarget]
