In the continuing search for a way to monitor our boxers as if they were in our party while in different groups in raid, I came accross this alternative to xperl. I havent had much of a chance to really dive into it yet so if I find something i'll let ya know... But here's what I am thinking, I have been using the default blizz raid frames ability to pull out single targets from the raid when my 4 followers where not in group. If we could simply do the same but get a much more detailed frame we would be all set. What I would look for would be... HP MP current target cast bar

Im using version 4. I also was trying to do this with xperl and shadows unit frames. If you hit O in game open the raid tab, then shift click and drag someones name. You can drag out a single frame for that person. I want to do this for all of the toons that are following my leader so that when I am in a raid and we are stuck not all being in the same group (in BG's for instance) I can still monitor them. I've been doing this with the blizz frame that you get for a bit now and its pretty good but I would like a more detailed frame (such as those that xperl, pitbull, or others give you) The problem is that none of these mods seem to modify that frame (I dont even know what you would call that frame few people seem to use it as no one seems to know what I am refering to). I spent most of the day yesterday messsing around with xperl, pitbull, and shadow but as far as I could tell none of them would change that frame.

| I'm not really pro with version 4, I prefer version 3 wich provides more possibilities. But even with version 3, I don't think it's possible to create a special frames for the people you want. I'll dig into the options tonight just in case but I don't give you much hope. Edit : Imo, to follow your 5 toons in the same window, you should try Jamba. Since I don't multibox I don't really know about the options and all, but you might be able to have something that looks like your pitbull frames UI if you have enough options.

I know this thread is extremely old, but it's exactly the question I've been struggling with lately. Unfortunately it never seemed to be resolved here. Is there a way to basically replace the "party" frame to always show you're multibox team instead of the party that you're thrown in with in battlegrounds or large raids? Jamba does have an approximation to this but it doesn't appear to support mouseover macros or cast bars. I've tried all the solutions mentioned here too and they just to don't seem to fit the bill.

I'd recommend one of Grid, Healbot or Vuhdo, if you want to display your party in a raid/battleground. I'm using Shadowed Unit Frames, and have them set to not display when I'm in a raid. I also have Grid + Grid Custom Layouts + Clique, which displays my team in one column and sorted alphabetically. I combine that with a Repeater Region, for click based healing of any toon on the team from any toon on the team. If you didn't care about the click healing, you could dispense with Clique. Both Healbot and Vuhdo can do the same as Grid, but without the need for Grid Custom Layouts or Clique, in other words both Healbot and Vuhdo are all in one solutions. My Grid Custom Layout is: ToonFirst,ToonLast;NAME 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8;5/8;NAME;NR I have thirty-seven toons listed on line one. The format is One,Two,Three,Four,Etc;NAME. There are no spaces, each is separated by a comma. At the end there is a semi-colon then NAME (in caps). Line two is set to display toons in groups 1-8. In a five row by eight column grid. This is also sorted alphabetically. And NR tells it to not repeat anything that has already been displayed (such as our team in column one). You could omit the second line entirely, if you just wanted a persistent display of your team.
