| Hey guys, Talking about another multiboxing stuff on this site is perfectly acceptable, as long as it follows these rules: a) It does not break any EULA or provide any shady EULA/TOS functionality. Rather than us attack anybody though, we will be inquisitive and respectful to whomever and we will respectfully ask for clarification, and b) It does not utilize a site or link to a site or link to a site related to another that is attacking us or the general multiboxing and gaming community, and c) It is not a user posting simply to advertise another product. You must have an earnest care for the community versus posting a link or review simply to gain $$ or to stir up drama. d) The post is not created with the intent to stir up drama and/or attack any community members for any reason. As far as I am concerned, respect is something that should be offered up front, and the actions of a persons past do not lock them into any set course in the future. We will not reduce ourselves to the level of those (other site) admins and instruct our users to attack people. Instead, I am asking everybody to please treat people kindly and hear them out on everything they have to say. We will not run this site like a dictatorship, we will not support hate or threats, and we will not support any user attacking anybody for any manner. This thread here is open up to all discussions and I really hope to hear every persons feedback, regardless of what site they are from, what multiboxing softwares they use, or what planet they call home. | Senior Member | This said, I think that (because as he said it was a simple cut-n-paste) we can create a forum specifically for other software. This forum will have a thread for each other software, and will preferably be locked after creation such that only the creator or a mod/admin can modify it This way, there is no community based drama posted in said threads, and we can keep the mutiboxing specifics like macros at the forefront. | We are only a few days old and have over 600+ posts and almost 200 members. I'd say we are on the right track. The whole purpose for this site is to escape the drama of the other sites. I'd say we are on the right track, and so far we are helping people left and right with multiboxing. Great job all ![]() BACK TO MULTIBOXING AND PWNING IT UP |

| Tim, You've apparently missed the parts where I defended you and your products at great risk to my personal standing with the dual-boxing community. I certainly don't agree with the way you've handled all your interactions with the other sites community and admins, but none-the-less I've defended you and your products time and again - but that bridge is burned. I've written to date three very detailed guides about setting up multiboxing in different fashions, one I know wouldn't be allowed here (and for good reason), one that is obsolete (Innerspace based on script setups) and one that is current and well supported (The ISBoxer post.) You are trying to build a community, I was trying to contribute. Yes, my post has an affiliate link, which simply gets me more subscription time which I certainly don't have any need of. (My Lavishsoft Pro subscription expires Saturday October 01, 2016... like I said, I don't need the referals.) Did I jump into the community with a flowery hi I'm zanthor post? No need, I've been Zanthor in the multiboxing community for two years now, I've been Zanthor online for over a decade, and for the most part people know who I am. Did I jump in asking questions about a subject that I'm quite frankly an expert on? Certainly not, no need to raise the signal to noise ratio. I read through the forums, saw what there was here, and saw a place I could contribute. Took me the greater part of a half an hour to reformat my post to your boards standards and get it split out and posted... I expected some questions, and I came back and answered them. Checked this morning for more questions, and here I am answering them. I am a pawn in no ones army, I fight FUD at every corner and I am a completely free agent, I don't want moderator rights there, here or quite frankly anywhere, I just want to help further the hobby because every once in a while, a new guy jumps in who really does rock the scene with something absurdly useful and powerful. That said, you do have me hands down on "b) It does not utilize a site or link to a site that is attacking us or the general multiboxing and gaming community, and"... I linked the Jamba thread because that is the # 1 source for info on the addon, if you would like to move the post back to the public eye I'd be happy to update that link to the jamba download side or simply leave it up to folks to find it on their own. --Zanthor Last edited by zanthor; 07-07-2009 at 07:02 AM. |

| Its all about a stupid feud, and both parties are guilty. The vet users on d-b are going to likely stick by them.... Users here, fueled mainly by the giveaway, are going to stick by Tim. In my opinion, let the damn feud die. If they want to continue to talk ****, so be it. If you want this community to be better, the people running it shouldn't hold grudges and set any rules against people because of them using key clone or any other software. Pwnboxer.com has its own site.... I'm sure that Tim, as much as he says he didn't, made this site to help promote it. There wouldn't be any direct links to pwnboxer.com if that weren't the case. Zanthor was trying to promote his own personal cause as well... There is not much difference other than he doesn't own this site. If someone really cared about the multiboxing community they would welcome any talk of competition of programs that make it easier and more powerful for us. End of Story.... So make today a new day for multiboxing, end the childish drama and lets get on with making this community great. Otherwise its pointless to even be here. |
