I'm pretty done with this thread, I'm not sure that it is really resulting in anything either way. Lets just post what we think needs posting, if Tim thinks it is outside of what needs to be here, I'm sure he will remove it. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, I am fine with that.

The reason why I am nice to him is because I believe that all conversations should start out with a certain measure of respect and thoughtfulness. If I don't give people that, then it becomes hard for me to expect a certain civility in any conversation.

So far 99% of all posts on these forums have been exceptionally positive and perfectly, well, perfect.

I know that people will come here from that *other* site, it is inevitable, and it was and still will be my intent to give people a chance to be drama free, constructive, and helpful overall. To do this, I must myself be able to respond to them in a constructive, helpful, drama free way.

On a positive note, despite the OP's loaded intent when posting on our forums, some great conversations have arose and I've actually made some interesting contacts with a couple of other people who saw what was trying to happen and contacted me. It looks like good things can appear out of the nooks and crannies of the bad!
