Hey. I'm fairly new to multiboxing (in PvP) and havent done it a lot, but now I wanna try it out. So I'm wondering if anyone could make a guide to set up PvP functions? As in FTL, I dont really get it.

I personally don't use FTL, nor do I believe it is better than standard focus/assist/follow type setups. However, I will be doing a PVP based guide pretty soon

FTL stands for Focus Free, Target Free and Leader Free. If you don't have FTL or cannot set it up... Since you cannot ensure your team will always be in the same group, the Leader based assist will not work. That leaves Focus or Target. Focus is probably the easiest, and it is way more flexible that a Target based assist. The major drawback being Focus is used for the team and thus cannot be used for Focus based targeting. If you're not running arena, this isn't really a big deal. If you are running arena play, then the loss of Focus is a severe disadvantage. Focus based assist... Essentially, every toon has a macro to Focus all of the other toons. So no matter who the leader is, all others Focus that toon. And your attacks are: /cast [@FocusTarget] Whatever. However, for Arena... You want to be able to target (cycle through) their characters. And have everyone /Focus the same opponent, who is your "real" kill target. Most classes have a combination which is major DPS. Shaman equivalent might be Flame Shock, Elemental Mastery, Lava Blast, Chain Lightning, Frost Shock. So you will be damaging someone, but save the "big burst". You notice the kill target (who is not being DPS'd) standing in the middle vulnerable. You spam your kill macro... something like: /castsequence [@Focus] FS, EM, LvB, CL, FrS. If you don't need your Focus for Arena or Crowd Control, go with a Focus based assist. If you want your Focus, go for a Target based assist. Target based, means you cast at your Target's Target. Even if your toons are spread across three groups in a BG. You can press a macro to force each to target your same toon. /tar [@ToonA,nodead][@ToonB,nodead][@ToonC,nodead] /Follow That way, you drive whatever toon. And the slaves will kill your target. And Focus is still free for whatever. However, you have to control your toons in that fixed order. There is no way to drive Toon C, while Toon A or Toon B are alive, because your entire team will then be assisting the ealier toon. FTL is stronger for PvP. Because you don't rely on Party Leader, Focus or Target for assist. Beyond FTL or the assist method of choice... You might have macros, castsequences, class combinations, etc...
