[WoW Guide] Gathering and Looting -- How to

This is something I stumbled upon a few weeks ago for looting with slaves.

Bind "Interact with Target" in the key binding menu.
Go into the "Interface," go down to "Mouse" and select "Click-to-Move."

Now if you have a dead mob selected in the slaves window, after pressing the "Interact with Target" button, the slave will actually run over to where the mob is and then loot it, how ever this breaks follow. This will not break follow if you are standing close enough to the mob to loot.

WOW! That is awesome, as long as i've been a multiboxer i would have never thought of that.. Been multiboxing for 3 years and was always figuring out a way to loot with out switching or mouse-over instance looting.

Currently I have that setup with with close keybinds. ie: E(Interact with target "like most games") F (follow main) and Q (assist main)

I will most likely figure a better way, hopefully find a way to put the interact with target into a macro and set follow focus with that. Maybe it works.

Yea, I've been trying to find a way to do that as well, but I don't know if there is a / command for interact with target, i know with my keyboard setup (Logitech G11) I could do it.

I'll do a bit more searching around and see if I can find out how to do it.

In the mean time if there are any other issues you are having with multiboxing just send me a note and I'll try and find a clever way of doing it.

Great vid on that Dev, thanks a alot. Also, Interact with Target is a protected function, meaning it can't be used in macros.

Yea, I actually had just looked it up to and figured out the same.

looks like we all had the same idea. Its to bad we can't put it in a macro Oh well it still works just have to push two keys.

Hey guys,

While it can't be used in macros, you can easily just bind Interact With Target to a key such as numpad0. Then what I do is I have Pwnboxer broadcasting Numpad0 (interact) and Numpad4 (target main focus) and I can blow through looting mobs super fast.

Exactly the same here

The issue is that you have to wait a little for the focustarget to work if you change targets on your main, and you might need to hit the Interact bind more than once, especially if Slave A loots but Slave B needs a quest item. I just

Yea, I use the macro that bound to my mouse to assist, then I hit "g" for interact with target

This also works with melee characters for attacking, if you want to melee the mob down, simply target the mob and hit your interact with target mob, assuming you have click to move set your characters will run over and attack the mob.

The only problem with melee attacking mobs is that if they move from the time you hit the interact key and the time your slaves get there, they will only go to where the mob was when you hit the key.

So you have to spam it again =)
