This is a step-by-step how-to of how to access the revamped LFG system in 3.3. Complete with pictures.

Rewards for doing random dungeons

At 80:

Random Heroic:
1st of the day: 2x Emblems of Frost + 26g
Each additional: 2x Emblems of Triumph + 13g

Random Normal:
1st of the day: 2x Emblems of Tirumph, 20g
Each additional: 10g

For Classic and TBC dungeons:
Satchel of Helpful Goods containing very good blue-quality gear of the highest armor type the character can wear.

How to get into the dungeon queue

1. Open your Dungeon Finder interface.



2. Select Random or Specific dungeon (you must normally have access to the dungeon to get it). From here you'll select which roles you want to fill. You can choose from Healer, Tank, or DPS. In addition, you can select to be put in as the party leader. In theory, you'd be the one explaining strategies, and the one responsible for the group. In practice, things rarely go badly enough that you need to make any kind of unilateral decisions.

3. Now you just wait while the dungeon finder system moves you up the queue.


4. When you finally get chosen, be sure to hit the accept popup.


5. Now wait till the rest of the group confirms, then its an auto-port into the instance. If the teleport fails, you can simply click the minimap icon again to get the option to teleport to the instance once more. You can also use this icon to port back to where you started once your team is done.


Tips and considerations for multiboxers

- You can queue up a 5-box team for a random dungeon and reap all the extra rewards that come from it. However, you won't get the Perky Pug pet since you aren't bringing in random players from the queue.

- You're team must have a "Tank", "Healer", and 3 "Damage" roles on a team. Whether or not they're technically dedicated to that role doesn't matter, as long as you have those roles selected for the purposes of the queue making a complete group. For example, you can't have 4 "damage" roles in a group. You also can't have 2 characters select only "Tank" or both selecting only "Healer".

- Its not clear how exact the levels of the team must be, but reports are saying it should be with 2-3. You must all be able to fit within a dungeon's "recommended level". That is listed next to the specific dungeons. If you can't all fit into that level range, you won't be able to join the queue.

26 gold, for the first "random" dungeon.
13 gold, for every additional "random" dungeon.

Right right. I actually go caught up in using it to get some awesome blues for my PVE team still leveling up

and the Random dungeon for low lvl is very lvl specific. I tried to do one today, part of my group is 23 and part is 20, I couldnt get into one. Keep telling me 1 member wasnt eligible. Im very interested in seeing what the "goodie bag" is for low lvl dungeons.

Only my level 45 team, I got a blue piece of ilvl 55 gear out of each bag. Each piece was of the correct armor type, but it was a bit random on the stat type.

The fact that I cant use it on my 4xHunter + Priest team is so bloody annoying you have no idea.
