The only downside of enabling click-to-move on your master is the need to be careful mouse-turning. If you click rather than hold the right mouse button down, you can find yourself stopping unexpectedly. PS I second Muffin's recommendation of SmartBuff. I used to use it for solo play but dropped it when rationalising my mod list ages ago as I didn't really see the benefit. For multiboxing, though, it is godly.

| Senior Member | Another vote for SmartBuff. I had macros set up for a 5-pally team and SmartBuff helped eliminate ALL of those macros. Now I use it on my mixed team and would never go back. Now if there was a way to have every buff be 30/60 minutes, I'd be a happier boxer. |

| Senior Member | Nothing really to screenshot... You just install the addon, setup the buffs and various options on each toon. Then on each toon create a macro that contains this line /Click SmartBuff_KeyButton SmartBuff creates a floating single virtual button (which I hide) then I just put that macro onto my bars somewhere and bind a keystroke to it (same on on all 5 toons). I put that keystroke into my dockable clicmapping and spam the crap out of it when I need to buff my group. You can spam it because it can tell when you already have a buff on and won't cast that buff again. EDIT: Here is a screenshot I posted in another thread ahwile back: ![]() The skull macro next to my "Nudge" button on the right is the button I spam with the above macro in it. it is that simple. =) http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-a...mart-buff.aspx One of the options in this addon is when a buff is about to wear off you can alert the user in some way. Most of the alert options are unusable for a multiboxing team (i.e. sound alerts on slaves). One of the options can send a message to your default chat frame (ala "Auction Successful message"), but it doesn't send this message to an actual chat channel (i.e. party), so when a slaves addon sends this message you cannot see it on your main. I haxord the LUA code for the addon on my machine and it instead sends the message to my Party chat. Now I am alerted very easily without actually looking at a slave window when one of my slaves buffs is about to wear off.

| I do almost what muffin describes, except I don't bother with a dockable map and just hit the (broadcast) key directly. I also play with my slave on a second monitor and so with the font in the text alert area set very large I can just see that something needs buff and spam the keystroke some more.

I use the dock because that frees up one more key on my G13 for something else, and 1 of my core personal tenants of multiboxing is to take my eyes of my main window as absolutely little as possible.... just my 2 copper =)

I use a G13 + G19... but goal of "saving keys" isn't because I have a lack of them... but I prefer moving my hand as lil as possible... so anything that is a "sometimes" function (i.e. drinking, buffing, LFD accept maros, etc...) I move to a dock button.
