| The combination of Grid + GridCustomLayouts + Clique can be used for Repeater Region based healing. The concept is simple, you heal via mouse broadcasting. Some software options require you to enable/disable mouse broadcasting manually. Others can have the broadcast automatically enabled once your mouse is within the region, and disable the broadcast as soon as it leaves the area. So you go with a fixed order sorting, using one of these three addons (or addon combinations): Healbot, Vuhdo or Grid + GridCustomLayouts + Clique. It is a preference call. If your software supports the mouse broadcasting, use that. If it doesn't support repeater regions, a free option which does is Hot Key Net. You can continue to use whatever software you wish, and use HKN purely for the repeater region based healing. I use IS Boxer, which is a subscription software which supports the repeater regions, but you could easily add HKN to Keyclone, Pwnboxer or anything else and continue to use your current software, taking advantage of all the features you have grown to love. Anyway, here is my GridCustomLayout: ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE,ToonF,ToonG,ToonH;NA ME 1,2,3,4,5;5/5;NAME;NR List every toon you have from all of your teams in line one, separate each with a comma but do not include spaces. Use a semi-colon after the last one and then NAME in capitals. This determines the names which will appear in the first column. The sorting is alphabetical, because of the ;NAME. This means the first name will be the same for every account, as will the last name. If you click the third name from the top (from say the Tank's client), the Healer will also click the third name from the top, which will be the same character on the Healer's screen as on the Tank's screen. Vuhdo/Healbot/Clique will interpret the click as whatever heal you have it configured for. The 1,2,3,4,5 determines that the first five groups will be displayed. The 5/5 determines that a total of five columns will be shown, with no more then five names per column. Because of the ;NAME, this too will be an alphabetical sort (so it is the same on every character on your team). Finally, the NR stands for No Repeating, which means if a name appears in any column it will not repeat in another. End result, your five toons appear in column one, and the remainder of the battleground/raid appears in columns two through five. |
