Hi all. Im Pwnman, from the server "ghostlands" in EU.

Im currently running this 10man on one computer and using one screen (update: see page 9 for details).

I started to lvl my first 5man about one years ago. After a lot of work and tedious collectionquests... i finally managed to ding lvl 85 with my second 5man in the beginning of 2011 and i was ready to take the step to 10mans. Finally. Before this I did several oldschool instances with 5 lvl 85s and did places like maggys, gruuls lair, molten core, Zulaman and such without any major issues. Ive also done regular and a few heroic 5mans, which is a nice challenge on how to learn healing and repositioning toons.

Last night was the day i loaded my 10 puppies up for the first time and i then tried a few raids for the "lol". I did OS3drakes and oneshotted that one (i was amazed), then i flew past Dalaran and picked up the weekly, which was marrowgar in ICC. How well could i do... i was kinda frightened but went inside. I oneshotted trash and marrowgar too, with only one dead toon!

This was very nice.. sadly i had to log off... (work tommorow).

By the way, im using 1 paladin tank/healer, 8 ele shamans and 1 resto shaman. I miss having one "pwntable" and "pwnportal" (lmao), but ohwell, i went for the "totems" and im satisfied so far. If stuff gets hard i got 9 offtanks

The day after i logged on again, wanting to try Black temple. Past times using only 5 toons i died on RoS but i was more confident this time. Turned out i oneshotted everything (RoS=zero deaths), even the fearfull "council" (one toon died).

On council i stacked the toons at the start, popped fire and tank-totems and went to single nuke the paladin mob, which healed himself from like 100k to 350k over and over and over and over and over, till i finally managed to bruteforce him down lol (felt lucky but ohwell, my toons had under ilvl 333), and then afterwards i oneshotted Illidan himself, flawlessly (i loled)! Surprisingly Illidan wasnt the hardest, at all.





After Illidan died (no... no glaive dropped), i was primed to meet my "destiny", tempest keep and Kael
I failed badly last time with 5 toons, but this time i oneshotted him (one toon died)!

Never dreamt a "zerg" tactic would work, i was initially prepared to make one toon tank/aggro the lady caster etcetc..but turned out that wasnt nessesary, luck maybe.

The tactic i used was: spread out the toons, (use tremor totem before the feardude attack) did weaponsphase (stacked up with magmatotems), when they resurrected i had my toons spread out, and my 9 elemental tanking totems ready. There was major mayham and mindcontrolled toons all over (!), i didnt have any "legendaries" on any toons, so i stunned one with my pallyhammer and just chainhealed as needed all around when i could. The tanktotems managed to seperate some of the councilmembers and the rest was "cake"

It was a good fight, the hardest so far, no doubt.

As for healing, its been little needed, except for the odd boss here and there (my singlehealer managed that just fine). The healingstreams makes me able to pull basically all in any room i want and so far i cant remember seeing them taking any significent damage. "its like..ohoh they get dmg..no....they are at full hp, like a millisec afterwards" Sadly the healingstreams doesnt work raidwide, only within a group. Still, 4 to 5 streams is a decent "heal over time".

Anyway, this next reset i will try to kill my way thru instance by instance, starting with the lower ones, loot all, and make a list of how much gold each drop, after all is vendored. Il also note how much time i used (edit: goes a loooot faster nowadays since my toons are almost full ilvl 371!)

Personally my first goal is to investigate the oldschool raids and what they drop, goldwise. When that is rounded up i plan to give 10man rated battleground a go. Could be fun, who knows.

I also plan to take on aq40, though seriously doing c'thun seems kinda impossible, it was hard moving the odd toon thru the stomac when i was with 5 toons.. As for the twins im hoping to brute force way thru it, as when my toons "fart", the enemy suddenly looses 300k Ohwell, gonna give it a go nonetheless.

Imagining 10 toons lined up fishing at the same time in stormwind always makes me giggle so il definitly do that for FUN.

I also need rep with steamcartel so i plan to place the toons spread out in tenaris where the pirates are, and make a key to target closest enemy and shoot, so my paladin within range in the center can pick up juicy rep easier.

Lastly ive never used any record software, but this is also somthing i want to investigate.

Yeah check outTim's thread on streaming with FME to JTV. Really Really handy. I would do it more if I had a better rig. I plan on upgrading my system as soon as I have the cash handy for it. But with your rig, you should have no problem with it. Love to see some vids of your 10 toons running instances, and raids!

Last boss Naxxramas

Finally......... took like 10 wipes to get the hang on moving from voidzones and nasty mobs that throw toons all over the place. Was tough at times.
The rest of naxx was oneshotted (except the four knights, wiped once there), even the boss with the two ramps you have to go up and tank the two ads first i oneshotted :-) Been a fun evening.
