Website SEO problems

I have been working on a website for a company since last month. I am having a problem with the SEO part and its not showing up on Google properly. I was wondering if anyone would be nice enough to take a look at it and let me know some idea to get it to show up better from using keywords. It a glass repair company and the site is www.rhinoglassrepair.com. Let me know if you guys can help.

such as if you search glass company, you've got other websites with more content that would likely come up first.

Well, I would like it to show as the keywords of Window and Door replacement would be one of the ways to be able to search as well as by where they are located like Joliet, IL thanks Paul for the response. Let me know what you can do, anything with be greatly appreciated.

Im no expert on SEO but,

from looking at the website, a few clicks on each page, there isnt much text,
i watched a few videos from google before, and here is a link but he explains that infact google realy doesnt index your website from the keywords, because you could go put black penis in your keywords and hey presto, you just increased your traffic by 99999x(O.O people like black penises?), so they dont use the keywords so much.

another thing is you link off to other websites, this means that googles bots are going to go and shift up there websites in the search because they have 'referals' from your website, instead try to write the content yourself.

one thing would just be to put at the bottom of the page in the footer, or header, 'joliet, IL #--------- <- contact number' small things like that will help because its content that is relative to the search.

have the testimonials to that you dont have to add them yourself, so people can submit them, and you accept them. this gives more free content.

under the serivices tab,

where you have listed services,
change it something like

# Window Replacement
Rhino Glass Repairs offer a top quality service replaceing windows for all your doors and external windows. We use high grade glass from an excellent supplier based in illanois.

# Door replacement
We will bid to replace doors with brand new top quality wood sourced in joliet from a respected wood supplier that offer wood treated specificly to create strong sturdy doors. Our plastic is heat treated to prevent expansion in hot weather to give you a top quality long lasting door.
# Insulated/Plate Glass
Our insulated glass meets ......requirements to give your building the best insulation  blah blah blah

these descriptions could be done on another page or in a description box that changes on highlighting a link or something but its down to content content content.



I dont know if you remember but before tim asked everybody to post in a thread, 'comcast sucks' or something, it managed to get to the top of the search, because of the content.


rememeber though, by creating something like

door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs
door repairs

this would get ignored by google




like i said, no expert, hope this helps..

also when you update it, it may take a few days to take effect aka be re crawled

double post but meh,

doing things like creating a facebook fan page, linking to your page from that, invite everybody in your friends list etc, it just increases flow, more links means more indexing from google etc

oh and sit and watch the whole of that video, will really help in all aspects of SEO

I'm pretty heavily involved when it comes to SEO/SERP and general Google concepts. I can say that if your company is serious about getting ranked in Google then you need to hire an expert in the field.

It is an extremely intense area that requires some pretty incredible skillsets to pull off effectively. I rarely work for other people, but when I do, the typical charge for consulting is in the 1000's.

To sum it up, there are billions of websites covering all sorts of everything. If you want to compete for ranking on search engines, you need to go to nuclear war on seo/serp, otherwise you will get left behind. Why do you need to go to war? Because all of your competitors who rank high already are...

Nice Tim! I love the quote you made about war. I believe it could cost over 1000's for this stuff because its very intense stuff to get a site ranked up. Just want the site to show up in some spots as a start then see if it will work its way up. Thank Paul and Fogy for the links for me to look at I really appreciate it.
