Since Ubuntu is a Linux-based system, I would imagine anything that would run on Linux.

generally speaking lots of windows games and apps can be run on Linux with the aid of Wine

WineHQ - Browse Applications

Steam however you may be hard pressed to get working on wine but some of the games themselves you may have better results. Just don't count on steam working. For years anyone that's submitted bugs to valve for support on Linux have for the most part been deleted or thread locked as not supported.

I decided that Ubuntu would be my work OS and Windows would be my play OS

Wine is actually very, very advanced, and the Nvidia support is great. With Wine and the proper Windows files you can pretty much run all windows-native games. That said, a lot of Steam type games run in linux. TF2 for example, all the HL2 engine games. Probably a bit more.

I ran Wine on my old phone w/vgpu, booted XP, and ran WoW. It ran, albeit a bit slowly. Ahh, the good ole days.
