Default Is this the "Tim" website?

No offense, but seriously... it seems like 1/2 the threads are about:

- Watch Tim do this!
- Here's Tim's setup!
- Here is how Tim does things...
- What would you rather see Tim do...
- Tim's Pwnboxer program is teh leet!

I realize the man knows his stuff, but heh...

PS: There's a reason this is in Off-Topic , because it's OffTopic

Anyone is more than welcome to contribute. Tim just gets most of the attention because he created this site, created Pwnboxer, and has the most watched multiboxing broadcast on justintv.

Fair enough.

BTW, not to bring up a sour subject or anything (Ive been gone forever from the multiboxing scene), but didn't Tim used to be part of the Dual-Boxing community? Then something happened right?

I don't remember much, but it seems he isn't very welcome there anymore... any idea why?

Also, again not to be rude, honest question:

Why, in Tim's stream, are you not allowed to bring up any other multiboxing software/websites/etc but Tim's website/software?

Doesnt really matter. The end result is just the two sites are pretty alienated from each other. Not really much point in discussing it on here since what occured between Tim and DB was well before this site's time and really has little bearing on this site's existance.

I guess... I just read up on some of the things Tim allegedly did over at the DB community. I'll refrain from posting it here though, as I fear I'll be banned pretty darn quickly here - as it seems its a pretty narrow focus over here and not much outside talk is permitted.

I wouldnt worry about being banned. The thread would probably be locked/deleted as inflammatory, but mostly because it detracts from the what MB.com community is about. It may have been started by Tim and still have a lot of content by/mentioning Tim (mostly due to its relatively young age), but the community is not Tim. The issues between Tim and DB are strictly between Tim and the DB admins, and have nothing really to do with the community here.

Any discussion about the specifics are a sensitive subject and have a tendency to draw in the opposing and passionate opinions of both sides. Those types of discussions tend to degrade rather quickly and are best left alone and out of the public portions of this site.

Im keeping an eye on the thread and Ill lock it if its necessary. I dont have any issue with discussing and explaining site policy as long as its discussed politely and intelligently, which it has been so far.

This site is predominantly Pwnboxer, but other programs are mentioned in passing. In the end, it is the community on both sites that matter, more so then which software someone uses.

Of the two sites, there is more censorship of PB/Tim/MB.com there (every post is deleted if it mentions anything specific regarding this site) then there is censorship here. Of course, there are several products actively supported there, and the site does not belong to any of the authors. Compared to predominantly one product here, and the program owner is also the site owner.

The past is the past; there is content of value to the multiboxing community, on both sites. While a single site would be ideal, two separate sites does work. And that's pretty much the way it seems it will stay.

Yeah a single site really would be nice. I guess if I was into PwnBoxer I would here more often... But I like to keep an open mind about things.

I still have one lingering question about Tim's jtv stream; why is it in such a lock down? There is no talk allowed at all about other multiboxing besides multiboxing.com/pwnboxer.

Seems to me more of a dictatorship than what it should be... I realize it's "his" channel, and he can ban/etc who he wants... I just think that limiting discussion only hurts the community as a whole.
