Default For those that are married...

Do you ever take off your wedding ring?

I think in the 9 1/2 years of being married, I've only taken mine off twice (once for an MRI on my thumb and once for surgery on said thumb).

Just to have it cleaned and "checked" every 6 months as part of our lifetime warranties.

I never took off my wedding ring for the duration of my marriage... even when she and I were separated.... but the day of the divorce when the majority of the truths came out.... well to this day I cannot remember what I did with the ring... kinda blacked out and now its gone >.>

Nope, never take it off. I used to not be able to, from the weight gain since our engagement, but now that I can (after three months in Ecuador) I still don't.

Wore it the first week, dont wear it anymore.

I cant wear it at work, because of a safety issue is probably the biggest reason why.

I have been married for 27 years now and only wore it sparingly; I dont wear any jewelry even watches as it is something else to keep up with and makes me perspire. And my wife doesnt wear one either. In fact I asked her where our rings were and she did not know and suggested we need new ones; a nose ring for me now ... Tauren style.

Rings are good but the key is in your heart not on your finger.
