Default streaming video capturing...

Anyone know of a program that could record streaming videos so that I could put them on my ipod and watch them later during lunch time at work?

Like for instance I watch Heroes on NBC, could I go to NBC.com and stream the episode I wanted to watch, record it then put it on my ipod?

I dont want to pay $2 from the ipod store just to watch one show. I could record it on my dvr and watch it later at home. Was thinking it would be cool though if there was a way to somehow put tv shows on my ipod.

Thanks!

I believe there might be some firefox addons that can do that but last I tried they were buggy.

If you have an application that allows you to record the screen by defining coords that also works. I've done that with Virtual Dub.

It's no different than recording a TV show on VHS or something. As long as you don't distribute it it's not an issue
