Starcraft: Am i expecting too much? - Multiboxing in World of Warcraft and Beyond!

Am i the only one who finds Starcraft below expectation? The campaign is good but overall there's nothing new. I might just be under the impression that they had a very long development time and released under Blizzard. Just curious what's your take on the game.

Could you be a bit more specific about what you expected? I'm finding that people who played with the beta are going to be underwhelmed with the released compared to those that didn't, simply because they're use to playing SC2 already.

i was expecting a bit more 'revolutionary' changes to the genre like when total annihilation was released. sometimes i think it's because of the type of the game that RTS has become somewhat stale. it's been a while since a good RTS game in the tradition of warcraft and C&C was released (there were some good squad based ones, warhammer, coh).
