Default Quick programming question

For my website (which is authentication based right on the home page) I want to get a dialog box that looks something like this:

I tried making one in HTML, but for some strange reason even though I explicitly said no scrollbars, task bars or address bars, they still show up anyway. I created a log-in form on a separate page and am using a window.open() command to open it on another page. I am using Chrome to test this. So maybe it's an issue with how Chrome handles tiny pop up windows like that.

What are your results in IE and Firefox?

I know first handle cross browser handling of scrollbars is ify at best... and I haven't really used chrome at all.

If you PM me a link where I can download your HTML/CSS and have a look, I will diagnose it for you... Ask Tim... I am good at this stuff... I diagnosed an issuse with the CSS on starcrafting.com pre-release the other day... after Tim had spent hours on it... while I was drunk. =)

Javascript can make popup dialog boxes.

Okay, after thinking some more (and editing this post multiple times), I have decided to actually leave my log-in page an actual page. That way I can put maintenance notes and whatnot without having to deal with pop-ups.

P.S If anybody plays GTA IV and wants a 100% completion checklist, PM me
