My new Solo UI (and maybe multi eventually)

So I am a UI addicted... I like things all neat and tidy...

So I just spent some time hacking some LUA to get all my UI elements to match Part of this is a predone addon compilation and parts of it are hacking the LUA for things like Healbot etc to match it...

I showed "test bars" in HealBot so you could see where they are at. You can obviously move this box around, I will PROBABLY eventually put it in the top-left somewhere...

The bottom right boxes are Recount and Omen respectively...

The 2nd screenshot shows my bag open (which has item search and sort functionality, as well as highlighting items with their quality color)

ALL my addons together only take up ~6-10mb of memory depending on if Recount/Omen are gathering data or not.

Very nice job. I like how your Healbot grid looks. Drop me a PM if you don't mind sharing the .lua or how you have it config'd.


Also, how does your UI look when you're in a party? Do you turn off party frames?
Do you use 'focus'? If so, where do you slide that frame to?
Oh, and you know someone will ask...if you don't put together an addon pack, can you post the list of addons you're using?


Looks similar to mine, though I'm not using ForteXorcist (on my priest) and instead put my Healbot frames there.

I am not using ForteXorcist. I am using SexyCooldown. They are commonly get used together and people mix them up... it confused me too when I was setting up this addon LOL!

I followed several bits of directions in the "skinning" forum on the Tukui website, and since I already work with code for a living I was able to pick up on some of the meaning of some of the edits their to design my own for ones where no guide existed.

And I dont use focus, but there IS a focus frame you can turn on (looks sorta like the player frame only half the height) and is movable to wherever you want it.

I turn off party frames and use HealBot as my frames for pretty much everything.

I was thinking of using Tukui, does it work with all addons without any programming stuff? The only others i would want to add is healbot and Jamba really.

Define "works with"... can you install other addons? Yes
Do they automatically look like the Tukui based addons? No, this required modifying about 6-7 different LUA files to get Recount, Healbot, Omen, and PallyPower to all match. If you are squimish about making file changes, there is a forum on the Tukui website devoted to "skinning" other addons to look like Tukui

EDIT: If you want to install other addons that duplicate functionality in the Tukui, there is a simple config file in the Tukui addon directory with True/False flags that are able to turn off various parts of it.

Jamba works fine with the Tukui, though I have done any work on skinning it to match (it is NOT installed in the screenshots above). As for Healbot, I already have that installed and in the screenshots above.
