Prequel: Red

Reason: The movie just has so many fun interesting characters, and the cannon is completely open to many possibilities.

Sequel: Underworld Series

Reason: There are many directions this series can go into, whether Kate Beckinsale decides to stick around or not. The biggest issue people had with the last sequel was that there was too much action and barely enough story to patch it together. Perhaps bring in a fresh writer to help spin some ideas. Nothing too complicated, but nothing overly boring.

Remake: The Cable Guy

Reason: People had predetermined expectations with Jim Carey in the role. Personally, I would have this remake as more of a reimagining. Drop the comedy, make it more of a Horror/Thriller. consider it a male version of Single White Female.
