| Some kind of streaming radio. Preferably, without commercials. I'd be running it during my streams and having commercials playing over my stream is pretty unprofessional.

| Senior Member | I've used Pandora and Slacker. I've been using Slacker now for quite a while, but mostly because I've been slacking myself and don't want to switch. ![]() Pandora: http://pandora.com/pandora_one ($36/yr) Slacker: http://www.slacker.com/products/radio/ ($47.88/yr) I won't attempt to lay out a comparison of the two. There are plenty of opinions on the Internet for this if you want comparisons. Edit: Added links and cost info (if you don't want ads). Go to the root of the web site if you want to see their 'free' offerings. Last edited by Poyzon; 11-06-2009 at 11:36 AM. |

| Senior Member | Rhapsody.com $14.95/yr but you have to build your own playlists. No ads/commercials. Unlimited play time for all online tracks. Tracks can be downloaded for a fee. Its able to add your comp's tracks to your virtual library and you'll know what you have at all times. |

| Senior Member | Pandora states that there is a 40 hour limit per month. You can pay $0.99 for the rest of the month to hear unlimited songs; however, ads and skip limits are still in place. I can't find any such limitation (40hr/month) on Slacker. Pandora sound quality is supposed to be better (IMHO only an issue if I were paying and sensitive that sort of thing - Slacker sounds fine). |

| I just use iTunes. The program is free and some of the stations have ads but most are just straight music streams with momentary DJ interrupts. I like the Hardstyle HB under Electronica |
